Is it wrong to say I haven’t seen one ounce of improvement in this outing from Hess? I can understand the mistake by Smith costing a run and even 1 homerun. But the inconsistency is just painful. Ben McDonald is saying it best he just isn’t hitting his spots. And he didn’t do that last year as a starter.
