This happened in football in 2020.
Sun Belt Billy took Oooh La La to a ranking at the end of the season and parlayed his way to becoming the worst coach in Florida history
and a buyout which made him a rich man......
That year Ed Oh! took us to a 5-5 finish, one year removed from the greatest NCAA football season ever....which he parlayed into a nice buyout...that allows him to take off his shirt and dance at wedding parties after the guests have left.

I don't think OP actually watches the games. We have a lot of people on here that spend more time on social media than they actually watch baseball.
We would be suffering different bad threads, but the casuals would not be on the ledge had we not blown the lead in the 9th inning Friday night.
We can't give up 30+ free passes and expect to win many series, but it is a long season. We are not playing good baseball right now, but have time to get right.

turf is the purest form of baseball field. Ask any college player most will prefer turf

The game was made to be played on grass. And I have no problem with turf infields or even outfield for that matter, but for heavens sake have some dirt on the mound and around home plate. All turf fields truly suck except for the groundskeepers
