You wouldn’t give every pitcher a 0-1 count. Half of the first pitches are balls and batters are taking bad swings. The contact they make usually results in a poor popup, easy grounder, or worse, a double play

The fact Ronnie rantZ fat azzz is critical of any pitcher on the staff is still Hilarious to me. He wouldn’t even pitch in D -3 in todays baseball

If they know we’re taking every first pitch, half of them wouldn’t be balls. Wouldn’t take long for auto takes to show up in a scouting report.

What you’re frustrated about is the result. Most of these swings are on fastballs over the plate. Those aren’t bad pitches to swing at
