We need to land the top recruits this year that uga is trying to snag from us.

Maybe we have been. You are judging the top recruits by rankings, which are done by know-nothing services.

We wouldn’t be, either, if we were not playing the hardest schedule in history.

Georgia spends twice as much as LSU on recruiting. Athens is a much better college town than Baton Rouge. And it is one hour from Atlanta a much better place than New Orleans. Georgia has a much larger endowment that LSU. And the Georgia TAF equivalent is 3 or 4x the TAF.

The economic opportunities for a kid graduating from Georgia are far greater then an LSU grad.

And they still have not been able to beat LSU.

Eventually Georgia will get there

Exactly. A program the caliber of LSU should never worry about having a losing season and to go from the best team of all time to downright bad is out of the ordinary. The coaches have failed miserably this year so far, hopefully they can figure something out but it isn’t looking good.

We don't make a major turn around and recruits are gonna high tail it from our program. Who would wanna come to this current team??

Were in a lot of trouble.

One of the biggest impacts Bo’s D will have, is the recruiting. Will take a while to overcome what that frickstick has done thus far.

Recruits don’t look at games they aren’t playing in as fans. We look at it and see problems and try and pretend we know how to fix them.

Recruits see games and see problems and they think “if I was there it would be different” you aren’t a true top tier recruit without that type of mentality and if they don’t have that mentality I wouldn’t want them anyway.

Football is pretty fricking cool like that.
We were a legit top 15 team when they came into Death Valley.

We may have the worst defense in the SEC. if Myles was out Georgia could pick the score

That’s bc UGA has yet to start and play Bama and Sabans Kryptonite which is a QB that has an ability to consistently use his legs to put pressure on that combo coverage shite that he runs. Don’t argue with me on this, argue with ya maw. Lol!

...with the way we're looking on defense right now, there's no way I can talk shite about another team right now.

Not to completely shite on the offense, but they are 0 for 12 on 3rd down with zero run game and so far the only defenses we have played have been among the worst in the SEC with only ours being worse (and UF).

No ball possession or sustained drives and when they do manage to score its on a few big plays so the defense goes right back out there.

The only thing that changed year over year that had the most impact is that we lost Joe Brady and Dave Aranda. We had Burrow for one year under slinger before Brady arrived and it was not the same. Now that he's gone and Aranda is gone, we are left with Ed O, Steve E and Bo Pelini.

That's not at all what was sold to the public.

Say what? I assume that’s sarcasm. We’ve already dropped two games to bottom feeders. Ole Miss, USCe and Arkansas are not that good. Auburn doesn’t look good. Florida, Bama and aTm are good.

Funny thing is since they started their recruiting dominance they have continually choked verse Bama! At least we beat Bama once lol and are 2-0 verses Kirby.

I agree with what you're saying, but let's not leave out how messed up this year has been with opt outs. LSU lost not only the expected players and coaches that usually follow a season like that, but the fricking opt outs hurt us BIG TIME. Not that I'm giving Pelini an excuse because I'm not. Just saying.

LSU have to start recruiting and developing the Offensive Line positions better.
That's where it starts in my opinion; up front with the big fellas.
You gotta create a wall/time for your QB and Running Backs to do their things and that's where I think Georgia and LSU are different.
