I figure UGA will have 10,000 at best inside the stadium.
They are allotted 6K visitor tickets. I can easily see them getting their hands on another 5K, maybe more, if they are willing to pay our "fans" top dollar. That's if the weather is perfect. If it's too hot, too cold, or raining, the place will be half filled with UGA fans.

I get the tone of what that guy is trying to say, but nobody on earth actually thinks this is going ot be ND part 2.
-For starters, this isn't once in a lifetime. ND was a trip that had literally never happened before and probably won't again for a while if ever. Many of our fans have been to a game in DV and if they miss this one they can go again in 7 years.
-The ND fans realized the demand for htis game and sold their tickets to UGA fans, who would pay anything to do. That's not gonna happen with LSU, even if there is money to be made they aren't going to sell out en masse to UGA fans.
I'm sure there are going to be thousands of fans in NO/BR that make the trip without a ticket, and we'll have our full allotment in the satdium, but it's not gonna look liek what we did to ND.

I hope they do. Our boys deserve people in the stands

I hope UGA brings tons of people to Baton Rouge.
That'll poke the bear a little bit and get our fans more into it.

Thousands of LSU "fans" sold their tickets to the NC to our most hated rivals, just to make a quick buck.

Where was it some of our fans ran through classrooms the day before the game? I was thinking UGA or UF.

50k Georgia fans? Doubtful.

We will assemble our troops once we get done invading Gainesville

They are not welcome in the NEZ and beware the puppies that try to "invade" Death Valley

My daughter is making both the Cocktail Game and LSU, although she does not have a game ticket for LSU.
I traveled down from Richmond, Virginia and saw Georgia in person this past Saturday.
Looking ahead, I think the weakest link for UGA is their OL. They have recruited a lot of talent, but they are pretty much all true Freshman and sophomores except for center. Their RG is out for LSU and the new LT has been playing with a bad ankle. Their pass protection is a bit suspect and they are having to use their TE's for pass protection quite a bit. Fromm's weakness is mobility. Justin Fields played a lot of significant minutes so I assume you will see both in two weeks.
In addition to Eason, their expected third string QB transferred after spring practice and the current third string QB is a walk-on. As a result, Smart has been limiting the runs by the QB's in games where they are not being challenged.
Good luck against Florida

There are going to be a lot of them. This game wasn’t sold out before the season started and they gobbled those tickets up within a week. I have 8 of them coming with me for god sakes

Lol. This is setting up to be THE LSU statement game.

My sister is married to a UGA alum. He was able to buy their tickets from LSU, plus tickets for a group of their friends from Atlanta.

you know how I know you have not been to a ranked vs ranked SEC game in Tiger Stadium in the last 12 years?

um thats a little different.
I saw tix on Stubhub for LSU UGA for 275. thats a pretty penny, but if you sold your BCS ticket on 1/9/12 for less than $1500....well thats on you buddy.

I'd NEVER sell my tickets to opposing fans.

UGA travels well, but the ND game was an anomaly.
As soon as that game was announced, people were marking it on their calendars and making travel plans. Simply put, playing ND in Southbend is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an SEC fanbase.
As such, people didn't think twice about dropping thousands of dollars for flights, hotels, tix, etc.
For UGA fans, LSU is definitely THE away game to travel to this year. However, LSU fans are not going to dump their tix to UGA fans at the same clip that ND fans did. And definitely not for a top-5 matchup. Yeah, there will be a good bit of Dawg fans in the seats, but nowhere near the amount they had in Southbend.
