When LSU had their fire sale on tickets before the season began, you can guarantee that plenty of UGA and Bama fans bought their share.

a buddy of mine that didn't get tickets through UGA bought a package from LSU's website that included the UGA game then just sold the other games.

I do think some are being drama queens about this though.
Georgia might have 15,000 in the stadium, but they aren’t taking the place over. The stadium will be rocking and there will be nobody leaving at half time no matter how much it gets posted on the Rant.

LSU has played Notre Dame in South Bend 4 times in my lifetime.

You do realize that LSU has been ND's most frequent SEC opponent right?

And that there are several teams in the SEC who have still never played ND.

Season ticket renewals took a hit after the coaching search fiasco last year. I know several long-time season ticket holders who gave up their tickets. The jury is still out on Orgeron, and Joe "I am the search" Alleva is hated by many for ruining the LSU game day experience.

I think you're right, it's not like the place will be 50-50. 70-30 seems about right.

The sad part is there's no way Joe gives a shite if that stadium is 100% black and red so long as someone is buying the tickets and buying the concessions.

After the way so many Tiger fans sold their BCSCG tickets to Gumps in 2012

Huh?

That said, I bet they will bring at least 10K to Baton Rouge.

Georgia Tech played @ Notre Dame 6 times when they were members of the SEC - 19 times overall.

You may just want to edit your post then:

Simply put, playing ND in Southbend is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for an SEC fanbase.

Lol, 30% of TS won't be wearing red that day. We will have a great home atmosphere like we always do for big games. I'd say UGA may have like 8k tops.

That would be embarrassing for LSU. It would mean that over 10K LSU fans sold their tickets to opposing fans.

Those tickets UGA fans bought directly from LSU are either in one or two sections in the north endzone or east upper, not seats left behind by disgruntled season ticket holders.

Half of the Superdome was Gump fans. It should've been like an LSU home game. Some people actually came on here and bragged about selling their ticket to some stupid Gump for 3X the face value.

LSU allots them 6K tickets, but many UGA fans bought additional tickets before the season started from LSU.

Are you the kind of person who - when someone says it's been raining all day long - you reply by saying they're wrong because it didn't start raining until 9am?

With how pathetic LSU home games have become is that really a huge stretch of the imagination?

They're buying our tickets. Alabama and Georgia tickets were still on sale to start the season. Lots of UGA fans bought directly from LSU because our own fans didn't buy all of our tickets. And I don't blame them. 100% blame falls on the shoulders of Joe Alleva. He doesn't seem to care/be capable of fixing what is ailing in game attendance.

You do know that each school gets the same allotment of tickets and then it's a free for all, right?
