It’s all the coaches fault lololol. Beth and Bryce told them to swing outside the zone every at bat. That was the plan to chase all over the place. The players played like crap just say it

Most on here don’t get it, the hitting was trash but the pitching was horrendous, pure trash. If you look back at post seasons it’s pitching that has killed us, giving up 8 to Southeastern, 8 or more to UL, run ruled by Stanford in a super. I don’t care who you got hitting until you can pitch u a loser as a team

I just wouldn’t be emotionally invested in this program until Torina’s contract isn’t renewed. We are who we are and have been that way for a decade now, and her fans think it’s unfathomable LSU can be anything more than what she currently produces

I’ve seen some recent posts about “well who could we go out and find that will be better?!?”
I am not that privy to up and coming names-especially since Beth has sucked the life out of the program the last 10 years.
However, if Ole Miss can go to the WCWS and Arkansas can boat race us it’s possible to find someone who will bring more success. I’m in agreement not dropping a huge bag to buyout a coach in a non revenue sport but don’t give her the pointless extension Woodward gave

Uh, I guess you are asking if this is a double elimination tournament.
That answer is "NO".
LSU softball is out of the SEC tournament, but they are in the regionals and will probably host. That starts next weekend.

Beth is too soft, the program is soft, they play with no emotion half the time but the biggest issue is the pitching is awful!! I’m not saying the pitchers are bad, Beth is bad!! When I heard Monticelli was the 1st lsu pitcher to win pitcher of the week in 6 yrs, that’s all I need to hear to know we need a pitching coach. Miss St took 3 mid major pitchers and took 1 to the draft and likely All American and the other All SEC, Beth is the issue at pitching!

It’s been mentioned on here multiple times she needs a pitching coach but clearly Beth Torina is pretty content with the state of our program given the lack of change.

I love LSU man but if I were a high level player and no changes are made I would portal and if I were an assistant I would leave the sinking ship. Beth has had lots a great players and lots of assistants have come and gone but the one constant is Beth Torina

She is awful . IMO good pitchers get worse with her either because of the coaching, pitch calling or fatigue due to overuse ( Kilponen , Berzon).
Heavener which was a promising recruit has gotten worse in these two years.
Definitely the coaching is bad and the recruiting has suffered because of our recent season performances. We have a few good players that have to contend with lackluster team performances.

I would say the bigger problem is that her staff has had too much continuity. For the most part she had the same assistants and the same results the past 10 years never one pitching coach and flanked by two average assistants.
Neal seems really promising but not sure he’s enough to cover up other deficiencies. Oh well
