UF Wins NC, meanwhile LSU can’t even make the tournament in the last 3 years

It’s not working AT ALL…. and it never will under McMahon. At least we got invited to the NIT, smh.

Can’t catch a break. Meanwhile, Florida hits the lottery on their young coach.

Ask them that again when football season rolls around.

we have been to 1 final four in 39 years. We havent been close to a final 4 or even an elite 8 in 15 years.
Meanwhile Florida has more national championships this century than any of the blue bloods. Not sure why you are trying to compare the most successful program this century to LSU...but hey, you do you.

Because they are the standard for what everyone should want to achieve? The acceptance of the utter shite that our basketball program is and the excuses that are made for it are a microcosm for why our entire state is at the bottom of every category.

No basketball coach that LSU has had won a national championship in basketball (men). It is what it is. Who cares what Florida has done this year. Is Florida competing at a high level in football? Would you trade basketball success now for 5 years of mediocrity in football like Florida has? I wouldn't. Football is the main sport on campus. Coaches and players know that.

Well it’s shooty hoops, so it doesn’t really matter.

And BK was what? 1 W better on the season and lost head to head with Sunbelt Billy?

Didn’t even make the SEC tournament.

LSU basketball and Florida basketball hired new coaches in the same cycle (2022).
LSU has out-recruited / transfer portaled Florida each year since 2022.
Florida has 2 NCAA tournament appearances and a national championship.
LSU has not even made the NCAA tournament.
It's a fair comparison in the NIL era, where past success does not matter.

So far his results aren’t that much different than the retirement home we hired. Neither has a sec champ, neither has a playoff birth, neither has even a major bowl birth.
Billy has had worse seasons but it’s not like Texas bowls are much better.

LSU has been CONSISTENTLY better in the last decade at football compared to Florida. BK was a mediocre defense away from a national championship with Daniels. I 100% believe this will be his best season to date, Nuss is only going to get better in yr 2 and that defense is improving. Florida may have Lagway, but I'd putt Nuss against him anyday

Who caused the horrendous d that BK had year 2?
He made all the hires no one forced any hire on him. It was noted when he hired the staff how bad it was

Thank you.
You can say the same about ole Miss and Missouri and State. We’ve out recruited them as well and they all have accomplished more with new coaches.
It’s really hard for a lot in here to understand this very simple fact.
Bunch of idiots in here trying to act like we can’t be what Florida is.

ahhh, so you aren't interested in winning it all, but rather a participation trophy. Well now I see why you losers loved WW. He wasn't sniffing what Florida has done, but he did participate. So which is it, winning 3 National Championships, or just getting participation trophies like OM, State, and Missouri? Hell, Tenn has never been to the final four I don't think. Alabama has been to 1. I think Auburn has been to 2 of them now....KY, yeah Florida has tripled that Blue Blood this century...meanwhile LSU has been to 3 final fours and another couple elite 8's. ...but they damn sure weren't close to that with WW. However, you morons start thread after thread about how great he was. In fact, out of the SEC, only FL, KY, and Arkansas (35 years ago) have won championships.
This is a great thread.

LSU just not invest any money in it's men's basketball program nor is it serious. LSU had a shot to hire Todd Golden. LSU is going to take a top down shake up to get serious about basketball. Facility upgrades, a hungry coach, NIL

We don't have to invest heavily. Bring daddy dale back with Brady as his X and O assistant. The only coaches to ever make real noise for LSU in basketball.
I kid, I kid.
