re: UF baseball program better than LSU

As my post said, at the present time they are the better program.
Historically? No question LSU is heads and shoulders better.
But just go back ten years, UF has out performed LSU in that time frame. It’s why we are looking for a new coach. UF certainly isn’t unless O’Sullivan leaves.
We have slipped, there is no denying that.

Not to mention Louisiana/East Texas/South Miss is a breeding ground for baseball talent. Especially Louisiana.

Around like how? Like a circle? Did you surround them like a clown in a circus tent ?

Wow, you talked to them, and they told you this, but you’re not exactly sure how many of them there were.

When people make stuff up they are usually not confidant enough to make it seem plausible. Let me show you how it’s done.
“I was at a conference tournament this past weekend talking to three baseball coaches. Two were MLB scouts, and one was a HS coach who is trying to make the jump. They all agreed that…”

I’m sure “basketball scouts” said the same thing about Mulkey leaving Baylor for LSU- geez. They are scouts.

Florida is, and has always been, an obnoxious bunch of "fans" that always ASSUME greatness. Frig off.

Well maybe he found 1, it’s the postseason and Florida is in it… wouldn’t believe him if they didn’t make it though…

It depends on what you believe constitutes a “better job”. There’s significantly less people whining like a bunch of entitled crybabies who know absolutely nothing about baseball, second guessing every single decision you make at Florida.
Complains about message board boo birds saying they know nothing about baseball.
Thinks a message board constitutes a factor in a ‘better job’. Lol

Don't confuse team with program. Florida has had the better team lately. Few could claim to have a better program then LSU, and Florida is not one of them.

Ya but 1 national title in 103 years. I’m not sold on them being elite. 2 friggin title in 100 years validates that. What you counting CWS appearances ??? ??????
I mean true but let’s not act like miami or nebraska fans
I could make an argument for why would sully want to come in and follow behind another legacy...while he’s doing a great job building his own?

when did i ever say i wasn’t sure how many? i specifically said 3 scouts. they were from the Phillies, Red Sox, and Braves. there was a rain delay before the game and we were standing where it was covered and we started talking because 1 of them asked if anyone had seen a lineup yet and i told them i knew who was pitching for one of the teams because my friend plays for one of the teams. then after that we just started talking about several things and Sully came up

These three people are probably bright enough to realize that their view is the exact opposite of reality. LSU is basically early 2000's Alabama football, and any coach would jump at the opportunity to restore the glory.
These high achievers are not as risk averse as the average cubical worker and love challenges. Money, facilities, prestige...all factor in. I'm 90% sure 3 MLB scouts would understand this.

and wtf do i get out of lying about that?

i wasn’t saying i agree or disagree with anything they said. just passing along what they believed

Translation: "was around three drunk UF fans at a dive bar in Florida City who had no clue who Sully was but said that he shouldn't go to LSU if he was a coach at Florida."
