UF baseball program better than LSU

Just had a UF fan tell me stop living in the 90s and UF has surpassed our program. I said y’all have 1 title in 105 years ??. LSU has 2 national titles last two decade so we are still superior. And Tony just whipped y’all w less talent. Woodward takes what Woodward wants....

They have been superior to us the last decade. Not significantly better by a wide margin, but certainly a more consistently elite baseball program.
Overall, LSU is still a better baseball program, though. More support, exposure, resources, and just an overall better brand in college baseball. That won’t change anytime soon.

Lol UF Baseball has no fans. I’m in FL and know a lot of gators, they weren’t even aware they beat us in the World Series a few years ago.

was around 3 MLB scouts this weekend at a conference tournament and they said Sully would be stupid to leave UF for LSU bc UF is a better job now

At present, they are the better program. We just asked our coach to leave and barely made the playoffs.
We need to face the facts. We would not have wanted PM to leave if we were better than we are.
That being said, the upside for LSU is much greater than UF. We just need a new leader and a few strong classes and we can be elite again.

Anyone who was at the championship series in 2017 knows better. LSU took over a stadium 15 hours away from Baton Rouge with 10,000+ fans. Florida had a few dozen fans there-- maybe 100 tops. It was actually comical how much they didn't care that their team was playing for the national title.

Our team is mainly freshman and we had many of our veterans out for injuries. Not to mention Louisiana/East Texas/South Miss is a breeding ground for baseball talent. Especially Louisiana.

It depends on what you believe constitutes a “better job”. There’s significantly less people whining like a bunch of entitled crybabies who know absolutely nothing about baseball, second guessing every single decision you make at Florida.

Ya but 1 national title in 103 years. I’m not sold on them being elite. 2 friggin title in 100 years validates that. What you counting CWS appearances ??? ??????
