So if Coach O is as good of a Coach as everyone says he is then this game shouldn't even be close right?

I mean the talent difference between the two teams is almost unfair.

Technically yeah. We should blow them out, on paper. Not holding my breath since shrimp boat O is the head coach.

We are much more talented than them. We are a better team than them.

The only way they are going to beat us is if they win the matchups on the outside. If their shitty quarterback can make plays through the air against Stingley and Ricks, well then yeah they will probably beat us, because that means their running game will be much more effective.

I just think the probability of that happening is pretty low. Otherwise, we will stack the box and stop the run and their offense won't have much success.

I mean, he did hire a coach without interviewing him and gave us our worst season since the 90s right after our greatest year ever. So he is a bit of a WTF. Not hate, but not blind loyalty either.

I know there was at least a HINT of sarcasm in your post, but you nailed it.
It was a bit sarcastic. More so a post to rustle some jimmies

But the point stands. coach O is getting paid like a top 10 coach. With the talent difference between the two rosters, on paper this shouldn't be a close game.

UCLA will be seeing numerous stars after the game. The LSU Players on the field and the little ones floating around in their heads after the arse whipping the Tigers will deliver.

Better recruits and higher star ratings for LSU?

Indeed.

Also check the transfer rankings, almost as crucial in today's game. Believe it's top 3 this year, including a Michigan RB (stud), Alabama and ND transfers starting at LB, and a nickel back stud (just look for #24, you'll notice him).

Chip is running the roster like an NFL GM, because, he actually was one (yeah, yeah, we know his record).

Coached an NFL playoff game. And a BCS title game.

College football definitely caught up to him, and surprise surprise, almost every damn team in the SEC now runs spread / no-huddle offense. Long gone are those 9-6 thrillers between Bama and LSU.

THEY CHANGED THE RULES OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL TO SLOW HIM DOWN! The referee stands over the ball now to slow down offenses on substitutions.

Last time that happened? Lewis Alcindor. See 1968, outlawing the dunk in college basketball for 7 years

By the sounds of that UCLA is SEC ready. I assure you that they are not.

How high was the Rose Bowl grass cut this week?

It all comes down to coaching.

No it doesn’t. It mostly comes down to talent, with coaching being the second most important thing.

They have 21 4 star players currently on their roster. We currently have 43. We still have more talent, but UCLA has benefited greatly from the transfer portal.

What has Kelly done since then? Get fired from the league and put up a few paycheck-cashing seasons at your school’s expense. Not much else.

If we’re talking transfers, you realize we have a guy who’s started multiple playoff games and another former 4 star safety? A Bama castoff and Michigan’s backup RB aren’t as scary as you think.

You guys really don’t measure up, no matter what bar you want to use.

Lsu beats ucla if the spy on the qb he had r long reception on crossing routs that went for 80+ yards.
Our defense was straight trash couldn't tackle or scheme.
