Well where did you expect them to go? If I am traveling hundreds of miles to see my team play in one of the most iconic stadiums in the country, I will deal with the heat. If I’m know I’m coming back multiple more times this season in (hopefully) better weather conditions, I knock out early and come back next week.

Admittedly the air-conditioned comfort of the Vegas bowl was better than yesterday's blazing heat

And the Tiger fans who went to Vegas stayed til the last excruciating down

Maybe they go visit Mike's cage, the gift shop, the museum, the baseball stadium, food vendors, tour the campus????

Hey let’s have another post about this. Let’s keep going. How many today? Can’t wait for alllll the people who didn’t go to the game to educate us all on how long those who DID go should stay. Let’s take it further and call people pussies for not staying out in the hundred degree heat.
Keep em coming! Can’t wait for more!

So you still contend they had nowhere to go? You want to be right so bad that you are willing to appear to be dumb?

The older generation from the 60s, 70’s 80’s are who made Tiger stadium what it is; so go screw yourself!

Alcohol based infraction -
We were tied at half and Tigers score early in the third.

In jubilance, a high five ensued. By accident, the high five was vigorously applied to the hand holding a full 32oz crown and coke, resulting in the drink being cascaded onto season ticket holders.

Allegedly

There were plenty of ucla fans underneath at halftime that were sitting on the east side. In fact, a group of 8 left halfway through the first quarter due to the heat.

Tiger Stadium was on fire yesterday—literally! And I’m not referring to the atmosphere.

Fans that travel are die hard fans. Same goes for LSU visiting another opponents stadium. They don’t leave early.

Have we talked about bringing Mike the Tiger back out on the field again yet too?

you're the first to bring it up, so no; but what say you?

i am all for it. bring him out before the start of the game, then back to his habitat.

no fireworks or piped in music. as he's leaving the team enters the stadium and all is well.

You self righteous fricks are the worst.

LSU had no business playing that game at that time of day that early in year.
It's dangerous for everyone involved.
Players fans band staff

Is anyone suprise half folks cleared out?
Hell I said that was gonna happen on Thursday.

I wasn't there so I don't know what I would have done yesterday but I do know in the past when it's been 100 degrees I didn't leave. With that said, let's not pretend this is the first time it's been "hot" Tiger Stadium. The point is that fans leave early regardless of whether it's hot or not. What will be the excuse next week or the week after?

Spectators leaving early is an issue today with all fan bases but it seems to be worse at LSU. I believe the answer is downsizing stadiums and adding more amenities. In this day and age of all games being televised LSU and other schools need to make the game experience more comfortable and appealing.

I went to the UCLA game in the Rose Bowl in 2021. It was almost 100 degrees in Pasadena that day. It was very hot. LSU had at least 25K at that game and, although we played terribly from beginning to end, LSU fans stayed in their seats.

Away game fans do not leave generally.

I get that. You travel to see a game you want your moneys worth, but people acting like UCLA fans couldn't leave because they had no where to go are ridiculous.
