Oh, but I didn’t say UCF was better. I just said that they are going to frick LSU up THIS game.

And Navy did, as well, in their worst season in a decade. You want to talk about NOT being able to adjust, any time it rained this season, Memphis immediately went to shite. It rained during the Navy and Toolame games. It rained in the second half vs UCF in the regular season. For whatever reason, Norvell just can’t seem to call plays when there are drops falling from the sky.

He’s a good coach, but definitely not at Fuente’s level. He’s a better recruiter, at least on an AAC level. But no one in Memphis is worried about another school making him an offer this offseason. He still isn’t ready for prime time. This is probably good for Memphis in the end, though, because he just brought in another very solid class for them. With a better DC and improvement at QB, they should continue to be good.

Watch how everyone will turn on LSU when we beat you.

Right now you're a good team. You lose to us, and everyone will say you were overrated.

Welcome to the UCF show.

Seems like most fans are over confident because UCF is in a shitty conference. UCF is going to frick LSU up.

Nope we are confident because they are an average team in a shitty conference that plays two hand touch. They will get embarrassed by LSU and thankfully we won't hear about them again.

One of the fantastic perks of beating you will be that you will slide back under your rock.
You lose and you are done. Even more irrelevant. You are back in the AAC playing with the rest of the wannabes.
We lose and ... it sucks. BUT, we play next year and open up with Texas AT TEXAS ... imagine that! ... a road game against a Power 5 team ... and we are back, relevant and in the hunt.

One of the fantastic perks of beating you will be that you will hear about it, non-stop, for the next 9 months. UCF will be all over the airwaves, with people talking about our 26-0 streak, and taking down another "mighty" SEC opponent. We will be in your heads 24/7.

Just stop with that. The half that is playing would be in UCF's circle of honor and the other half would be starting for UCF. There is no excuse at all for not dominating this team.

Malzahn showed his team the last 10 minutes of last year’s loss to UCF and stressed the importance of how a bowl game can shape offseason perception.

Will Friday’s performance change the narrative with Malzahn in the SECW, & Pre-Season Rankings? ABSOLUTELY!

Aub 63-14: Malzahn ends season with a statement win.

So UCF beat "crappy" Memphis as well as 3 SEC teams: ALA, GA, AUB:

Memphis is a Rival game for Ole Miss. In 2015 Ole Miss beat ALA, LSU & all the SECW teams except ARk in a wild finish with ARK lateralling the ball for a 1 pt win. They lost to an unranked FLA team and to Memphis. Ole Miss finished ranked #10.

The SEC was at a Peak in 2014-15. ALA dominance is rising. The 3 top recruiting classes brought LSU up but not nearly competitive with ALA.

[b]For comparison UCF is 19.6 (above LSU in 2015) and LSU is 14.8.

Sobering how far we are separated from ALA: Look closely ALA scored 78% of the pts in their SEC games: total domination.

Let me google that for you:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_UCF_Knights_football_team

Memphis is in our conference, but not our division. We still play them some years, and in the past 2 years, we have played them 4 times.

Said exactly this already!

UCF has a punchers chance I'll give you that because certainly anything can happen. With all due respect UCF has a great streak going for them and plenty of momentum leading into this game.

What I have seen from UCF for all of the five minutes I paid attention to them is they execute on offense. I can't say the same for LSU. Again 5 minutes of my attention watching UCF and tougher defenses against LSU.

My .02
The committee looked at UCF and doesn't believe UCF can bring in the $$$$ for desired for playoff revenue.
They also don't want a possible upset victory opening a can of worms on their 4 team playoff system.
Insert LSU to clean up the mess and if LSU $#!*'s the bed the talking heads for the playoff committee will down play the loss pointing out all the deficiencies LSU had entering the season along with the injuries and Greedy sitting out for the Bowl game. UCF still won't get the respect they so desperately want.

LSU can certainly relate to some degree. How? 2003 LSU wins the BCS Natty yet all LSU fans heard on national radio was USC USC USC blah blah blah national champions and they never touched the field.

This game bodes well for UCF. This is the biggest game they will face since the streak began. UCF will certainly be pumped facing a former power house that has a few hitches in the giddy-up going into the game. Providing UCF wins it will be like Utah beating Bama years ago. Crickets yup that's what you will hear, people will remember it but it simply won't mean anything to anyone but UCF.

This game for LSU is like racing your Grandma at the BBQ if you lose you will never hear the end of it and if you win it's because you were supposed too.

I personally won't underestimate UCF's chances of winning the game. I've seen plenty of underdog's get an upset. Personally I hope LSU stomps UCF into a mud hole.

y'all
