Don’t give a frick about this game at all. Doubt I’m even going to watch. We are in a no win situation in a meaningless game for LSU but a game that means everything to UCF.

Two things:
1) People saying this game could change the CFP system if UCF wins are dead wrong. UCF isn't a media darling and their absence means nothing from the Playoff to the groups that run the sport.
2) UCF is a much more cohesive "team" unit than LSU. It is obvious in their play. Many players playing in the same system for years will do that. With that, their coaching staff, with the exception of Defense, is light years ahead of ours. We will be out coached, so prepare for that.

is NOT a meaningless game to a lot of people. Not meaningless to the players playing (unless of course you might get picked in the 1st round so screw everybody else right?), not meaningless to the coaches who are trying to build a program thru recruiting, and not meaningless to fans that actually care for the well-being of the program as a whole. I garuntee you it is not meaningless to everybody on the UCF side.
This game will have ZERO effect on recruiting.

UCF May win this game, but that won’t make them better than LSU. Sorry, facts are facts. One team puts huge numbers of players in the NFL yearly and the other team is UCF.

Did you watch the Memphis game? Actually watch it and pay attention? Memphis is my second team, so allow me to enlighten you- their starting secondary couldn’t touch the field ahead of any of our backups. Not one. They were torched all season, even by bad teams. Their DC was also about to be fired if he hadn’t found a lower tier HC job to move on to.
Memphis got their lead because UCF’s backup QB is a turnover machine. He was giving away the ball like candy in the first half. Also, the UCF staff tried to gameplan to their QB’s strength and run the ball early in the game. In doing so, they actually played right into Memphis’ one defensive advantage. Their front 7 is decent for the AAC, and they were able to stack the box, hit the inexperienced QB and cause turnovers.
Midway through the second quarter, UCF changed their strategy and started repeatedly throwing the football deep. Go back and watch the throws. Their QB is literally just chunking the football up. The thing is, Memphis’ secondary is so bad that it doesn’t matter. They hit some big plays, Memphis had to unload the box, and they never even slowed UCF down from there.
The same game plan that beat Memphis isn’t going to beat LSU’s defense, and I’m sure UCF’s staff is well aware of that. Not with that QB. He may be talented, but he isn’t experienced and hasn’t faced a good defense before. His two starts were both against poor, overmatched Ds.
I’m not saying that UCF can’t beat LSU, but our MASH unit of a secondary is still many times better and more talented than what you saw in that video. That’s the truth from someone who knows Memphis’ team. If you can’t tell that, then you don’t know football.
If there is something to be concerned about from that game, it’s that UCF’s staff is very good with halftime and in-game adjustments. That is the reason they came back from double digit defects to Memphis twice this season.
There is also good news for LSU to be found in that game. UCF is VERY susceptible to the run. VERY. While they were able to stop it in the second half, they had to sell out and stack the box to do it. And they knew they could. Memphis’ QB can’t hold a candle to Burrow, so Memphis had no response. Don’t compare numbers, because he has some padded up stats, especially against bad teams. He also has absolutely no game awareness, no leadership and makes bad decision after bad decision. If pressure is on him, he folds every time. Memphis actually had a real chance to beat UCF on their last possession in the regular season matchup, only for him to blow it by stupidly holding the ball and then throwing short as time was expiring.
I expect LSU to run with success vs UCF with a healthy and rested O Line. Based on the Memphis game, I also expect to see Fournette and Provins (assuming I am right and he wouldn’t burn his redshirt in doing so) get some carries. Henderson exposed the UCF front 7 in the first half of both Memphis games and I think our Tigers will look to do the same using more of a balance of power and speed. The problem for UCF is that, as long as the line can keep Burrow upright, he can beat them if they load the box to stop the run. He proved that vs A&M. If LSU can be balanced, UCF’s defense won’t stop them. Again, look back at the A&M game. LSU bested one of the top teams in the FBS in time of possession by holding the ball and wearing their D down. No one outside Bama and maybe Clemson did that to them all season. If LSU can keep that D on their field and wear them out, then the Knights have a matchup problem that their fans won’t admit to.

Listen we’ve beaten the frick out of Memphis 14x in a row. It doesn’t matter how or why. And nobody still respects UCF and it pisses us off so we’re just gonna kick more arse soon and leave 26-0. That’s the bottom line.

Ironically, this would be a meaningless fight, by your standards. No championship on the line, just PRIDE.
The same pride that makes this game meaningful Xs 100 million dollar budgets, conference supremacy, playoff implications, recruiting implications, and the entire nation watching.
Meaningless, fight at the Sonic is meaningless... this game has slightly more riding on it than that.

You don't earn respect by beating really bad teams, even ones you beat 14x

We will see
You arrogant turds have played your sympathy card out. NO ONE is rooting for you any more. Even the local radio hosts are tired of it. You turned down the UF offer that you should have taken. Your average home attendance is just over 42,000. You can't even fill your little stadium to watch your undefeated team. Why would any team want to come and not make any money? Heck it will probably COST Stanford money to come next year.

The disrespect will continue once your school’s one claim to fame comes to an end in a few days. Power 6 my arse. I’ve seen the best the AAC has to offer all year. It doesn’t measure up and one win over Auburn doesn’t change that any more than any other G5 team beating decent P5 program.
Respect takes more than two years to earn, and don’t give any crap about your records before 0-11. That is a fricking national respect reset button right there. I’ve heard all the whiny excuses, but if a program can’t handle business better than that, then they don’t deserve credit for what came before.

Sadly doesn’t matter if UCF wins this one or not. Until they actually start playing a decent schedule, no one will care about them or care to include them in conversation. If you want the respect, you have to play the best available, which they are not doing.

Shitty players playing as a team for years is not better than good players playing together for a short time.

Last I checked, D was kind of important.
Their staff is very good at adjustments. However, they also walked into two pretty obvious gameplans in two different games vs Memphis this year and got their asses handed to them for a half. I can understand the first game, but the second. At home in a Championship Game?
Again, they get a lot of credit for changing their gameplan on the fly and winning, but a great coach doesn’t sleepwalk into game two against a team with one real offensive weapon and play right into their hands. They are very good, but they aren’t as amazing as you claim.
