LSU also had more sacks more return yards better field goal percentage (also a stat) they had 50 some odd more yards than us total and held the ball a Whopping 6 MINUTES longer that LSU. I didn't see any domination in those stats at all

Yeah...because every other sport has a playoff.

Nobody "leaves points off the board". Nobody. You either score or you don't. They didn't. That's why they lost. It's really, really, not complicated.

And addressing the little midget's comments, all those other teams in playoff scenarios played themselves into that position, they were not placed there by voters.

I really really hope they are thinking this. They outgained us....IN THE FIRST QTR ONLY!

They never got into the red zone but once. I don't care that they missed FGs, those suckers were not chip shots.

Bring it again, we'll just have to wear your asses down in the 4th Qtr again like last time.

Alabama is 2-12 in FGs attempts outside the redzone this season.

Based on their average for the entire season, it would've required about 18 attempts for Bama to make 3 field-goals from the distances they tried for against LSU.

Going 1 for 4 was actually really impressive.

So on Jan. 9, LSU only has to play against Bama, but Bama has to play against LSU AND themselves. Sweet!!!

Advantage: LSU

I think TM7, Claiborne or Brooks will intercept McCarron trying to do the dump pass to TR3 rolling out of the backfield and take it to the house.

You stupid LSU fans don't understand. Special teams is not a part of football. Neither is losing yards every time you get in the redzone. Limiting a Heisman trophy candidate to 35 rushing yards on 12 attempts in the 2nd half is a meaningless stat. Beating the #2 team in the country at their stadium doesn't prove anything. Les Miles didn't outcoach Saban for the 2nd time in a row. Saban outcoached himself, again.

Bama had more offensive yards than LSU. And, that's all that matters. Well, that and the fact that Bama totally dominated LSU by letting us have more rushing yads than them. And, it's obvious to anyone that watched the game that Bama forced Jarrett Lee to close his eyes and throw the ball directly to Bama's DBs while Reid and Claiborne's INTs were accidents that Bama let happen.
