And so did LSU. I wonder how many points he thinks they could've scored from the 45yd line? That's pretty much where they spent the entire game.

Yes, I've seen two NFC teams in the Superbowl before.

I was just getting ready to post this. There has never, in the history of sports, been two teams from the same division playing for the biggest championship in their respective sports.

Alabama had the ball for one play inside LSU's 20.Its simply amazing how they talk about the points they left off the board. And, just sending a guy out for a fg doesn't mean diddle. You can try a FG from your own 15 if you want to.

LSU missed a TD before halftime by inches and because of the clock had to kick one from the 1. Somehow the Gump nation doesn't recognize those "missed points".

Nick should have just stuck to the college analogy because it doesn't work this way in the NFL, NBA, or MLB.

I actually think that BAMA is putting MORE pressure on themselves by saying ridiculous stuff like this. Now they have to PROVE they were right. This doesn't always work out too well.

By the time the 9th rolls around Bama will be favored in Vegas across the board, all of the media pundits will be picking them and Nick will have them wound so tight and so afraid to make mistakes that I'm fully expecting them to collapse on top of themselves.

Why are the Alabama players, and coaches, still fielding questions about a rematch? Seems like the press is wanting a story.

You stupid LSU fans don't understand. Special teams is not a part of football. Neither is losing yards every time you get in the redzone. Limiting a Heisman trophy candidate to 35 rushing yards on 12 attempts in the 2nd half is a meaningless stat. Beating the #2 team in the country at their stadium doesn't prove anything. Les Miles didn't outcoach Saban for the 2nd time in a row. Saban outcoached himself, again.

Bama had more offensive yards than LSU. And, that's all that matters. Well, that and the fact that Bama totally dominated LSU by letting us have more rushing yads than them. And, it's obvious to anyone that watched the game that Bama forced Jarrett Lee to close his eyes and throw the ball directly to Bama's DBs while Reid and Claiborne's INTs were accidents that Bama let happen.

good question, I'm not hearing or seeing very much coming from our staff and players on the subject. Actually not seeing a lot of coverage altogether on LSU. Which is fine by me, if there is a way to stay quiet leading up to a National Championship I'm all for it.

Y'all need to cut lil Nicky some slack. He obviously has no idea what he's doing in the NFL. Remember, it was him that passed on Drew Brees.

It's official, Saban has pounded it into their heads! LSU did not beat Bama, Bama beat themselves. It seems anytime a Bama player is interviewed, they all say the same thing with a bit of arrogance. I hope LSU beats the living shite out of these cocky bastards!

This is what I've been saying. I don't care how they look at it, if we beat them, they beat themselves, they beat us except for the score, they left points on the board; don't care as long as the final scoreboard reads LSU more points than BAMA
