They shouldnt be allowed to pitch if they arent rested....regardless if they have a future in baseball or not.. a respectable coach wouldn't let them destroy their arms.... still have to play catch with their kids when they have em.. anyone who says otherwise is a fool

UA- Little Rock’s Starters
No such college named "Little Rock" or "The University of Little Rock" exists.
The Tigers are playing "The University of Arkansas at Little Rock."

My buddy who is an LSU grad and Little Rock native says they call it U. A. L. R.

Baloney! Remember when Coastal Carolina won the National Championship? They had a pitcher, Beckwith, who had no real professional future, and he told the coach, “I don’t care about my arm. I want the championship.” He pitched two complete games, throwing 98 and 138 pitches, then started the championship game and threw 93.
That man is a hero and the MVP of a national championship team. And do you think he won’t be able to play pitch and catch with his little leaguer?

Five games in four days is absolutely ridiculous. What the hell is their conference thinking? Can you see LSU, or any SEC team, having to do that to win the tournament.

quote:Cool stat is that Wells finished the 2023 season with the #2 ERA in D1 baseball…behind Paul Skenes.
UALR coach already said they are throwing Wells
Hasn’t been nearly as good since then, but I found that interesting.

I wonder how long the standing ovation will be?

I would guess they would start Wells against us and then Cline in their second game.

Just saying while in the moment seems like a great noble thing, but in reality he could end up with issues that affect him for the rest of his life. And really wouldn't be worth it in the long run.

Yep. Overuse has now been linked to cronic fibromyalgia.
