A 64 yd pass that the D was out of position on and routinely would not have resulted in a score.

A 88 yd run where the LB hit the guy at the line of scrimmage and would make that play 9 out 10 times.

Of course, every play counts. Credit to Florida for executing.

But, Florida had 44 yds of rushing on 32 carries without this run.

And, Florida had 202 yds of passing on 38 attempts outside of this pass play.

So, did Florida dominate on offense?

Totally agree. 2 big plays helped Florida win that game. Now the defense played good too, but their offense wasn't very productive besides those 2 plays.

Yup.. take those 2 plays away and you have a totally different game. Hope we can make some big time plays like that.

I get what you're saying, but by that logic I can show you six or 7 plays that made it appear that LSU dominated Utah State.

The truth is, Florida completely fooled and frustrated Bo Nix all day and they made the plays they had to much like our game against them last year.

Come on guys...every teams stats are padded by big plays. They executed those and won the game. This game is not going to be a cake walk and if it is we will have the perfect game plan. Similar to Georgia game last year.

Florida did not dominate on offense, but they didn't have to. Their offense is based on getting the ball out quick to their receivers who have the ability to bust off big plays because they're so fast and they like to try to pound you with Perine.

Auburn also was able to move the ball the whole game, but Nix just made too many mistakes. if he doesn't throw that pick inside the 15 and if he throws the ball away instead of retreating 25 yards when they were in FG range, Auburn has 19 points and Florida doesn't have nearly as much momentum at the end of that game. I don't expect Burrow to make similar mistakes.

Watching the condensed version of the game, I saw the same thing. Fla threw the ball better than I thought they could, but were mostly ineffective running the ball. If Nix were accurate at all, Auburn would have trounced the Gaytors. He can't hit the broad side of a barn from 20 yards.

Really their rushing offense is nothing special, before Perrine made that 88 yard run in the 4th quarter they were at less than 30 yards of rushing offense. LSU's D must be licking their chops to face Florida.

Nix actually had pockets to step into. But he he panicked and got happy feet most of the time. I like our OLine this year. Now even more with Ingram being in there. I’m really ready to see JJ and Chase vs Wilson and Henderson. Does anyone know if Marshall will be ready by this weekend - I saw he returned to practice already.

Agreed. Defensively they did dominate Auburn.

Probably the biggest play was Brown tripping on his own during the fumble return. He scores 7 there instead of them getting 3 or 0, can't remember, then it's a different ballgame. Same can be said when Williams caught the pass behind henderson but fell due to the throw being a bit too long. Trask was already shaky prior to the knee but seemed even worse after as his throws were pretty far off.

I don't know if that's how they are built or just luck, but Florida seems to do this a lot. Donte Jackson misplays a pass, Guice grus wrong way, etc. Take away 3 or 4 plays and we are going into Saturday with a nice win streak.

How about the two plays where Auburn had the ball with no one between them and the endzone and they fell down. One on offense and one on defense.

It was an ugly game to watch for the most part. Neither team looked particularly good. Hard to say if their defenses are that good or if their offenses are bad and made the defenses look better.

No they didn't, but they won the game and that is all that matters.

True.

But, other than that ONE thing, the Lincoln’s had a nice time at the theater.

I still can’t believe he came back from that. I thought he was done. Your defense looked good. We owe you guys a beating tho.

Let’s not forget auburn has a ridiculous dline they were running against. I think we will be fine but it won’t be an easy task.
