The fact is, TR is going to hate anyone hired that is Vince Lombardi reborn.

Terry Robiskie

My first LSU jersey as a kid - #16. Yeah, I'm getting old.

Terry may still be salty from never being interviewed for the HC position here after applying multiple times.

He would bring zero recruiting value

Serious question, is he replacing Sullivan? If so, was Sullivan a great recruiter? Who did he bring to the program?
Maybe we don't need another recruiter, we seem to be doing okay in that department.

I like Robiskie but I'd be interested to see how the board would react to hiring a 64 year old

I want to know what the head football coach here has against young assistants.

Robiskie would be a slam dunk hire. He's already set with NFL pension and coming to LSU for 2 years max would be a great way to end his career.

And have another guy that doesn't want to put in the long hours? No thanks.

Sullivan was responsible for developing wide recievers and designing our passing concepts. Judging by the progress and innovation we witnessed this year, hes irreplaceable.

The very first move he made was to promote a graduate assistant to linebacker's coach.

I'll be willing to bet you've had less than glowing things to say about Meatball, but I'm not bored enough to go through your post history to verify this.

Cregg, Aranda, Meatball and Faulk are all under 45.

what does it matter if a coach is young or old, in your opinion?

As far as categorizing Robiskie as a "Tiger Great", he was more of a "Tiger Good", especially compared to backs like Fournette and Guice who were truly "Tiger Great".

I'm not in the Robiskie camp, I'd much prefer a younger up and coming high energy college coach or even a very accomplished high school head coach if there are recruiting benefits attached.
