A big reason we see kids leaving the state. Same everywhere they are trying to get away from da hood. 2 RB's in 2 years sucks. Linsay probably feared for his life. Hopefully he can get away from the thugs and maybe transfer to some small safe college in podunkville

Just looking at bodies (without asking someone to change position), looks like Ebun and Lane have been on the team for multiple years without playing much (except Lane on ST). Reid Chauvin is the 2025 walk-on at RB. If we got down to 2, I'm sure Ebun knows the playbook (smart kid) and Chauvin would be a handful picking up the blitz (powerlifting champ - as his coach says, he will be the strongest, pound-for-pound walk on in the nation). Lane is a mature kid and played quite a bit on special teams.
If we have to move someone to RB, QB Johnson or, dare I say it, Harold Perkins, Jr. (was a running back in HS) might have to cross train, just to take quality reps if there was to be an injury.
In looking long-term, RBs are a place where a transfer can come in (or a Freshman in 2026), so perhaps least vital to have a freshman develop in the program, but it is alarming to have both incoming scholarship HS running backs face such serious charges - before either has even taken a live snap in a game for LSU. I know this isn't new ground, as LSU has had several players involved in such incidents over the years. And, frankly, it wasn't that long ago that CEH was almost on the receiving end of this type of violence, in Baton Rouge.
The trend is both disturbing and alarming.

We don’t know the whole situation but your explanation is as plausible as any!

Thanks. The prime example is the Le 'Veon Moss story that I mentioned. Saw a story om SEC network I think. He wanted to get away from the gangs and thugs where he grew up. His best friend was murdered by his "friends".

Oh frick off, we don't need this shite on our team. He put other students in danger allowing them to stay there for two weeks. Our RB room will be fine and the scholarship can be used on someone who isn't a piece of shite.
Had it been one night, he could have some plausible deniability, two weeks, nope...see ya.
