Hopefully LSU hires Freeman, will be nice to see somebody who knows how to coach defenses again at LSU.

Wait for another game to start. Whoever is winning that game at halftime will have one of the best defenses.

Are you even watching these games? If there's ever a time to beat any of these teams, it's now. None of these SEC kids care about the outcome.

Man that cinci defense looks good. Marcus is very cool and collected on the sideline.

Like somebody we know...

If Freeman can beat Ga with 3 star players, imagine what he can do at LSU to the rest of the SEC with 4 star players.

Could not agree more! Both defenses are solid, hopefully LSU gives Mike Hinkwitz from Northwestern a look as well.

This is Cincinnati’s second 11 win season, stop making excuses!

Hinkwitz would be my second choice if Freeman says no, I’ve watched Northwestern play a lot this year, their defense is legit.

Our top commit doesn't run a 3 man nose tackle. Where does mason play? We have 1 nose tackle on the roster. Whats the 11 personnel in his 3-3-5? Love the back 5, but front 3 don't fit with ojulari and a class of 4-3 personel recruited.

Hinkwitz is planning to retire after this game and 51 years in coaching.

Freeman is the move.

Didn’t see the Auburn game but they aren’t exactly an offensive juggernaut. LSU made them look like one this year.

Fickell and Freeman run the 4/3 base defense but a good coach with lesser athletes will run a 3/ defense because they aren't recruiting the NFL DEs

The guy is 73. Isn’t that the opposite of what we wanted.

Freeman is a solid choice. His first DC gig was 2016 so he’s totally modern in what he’s faced and what he’s designed. He’s also had NFL experience as a player so he understands how quickly things change. This is the type of guy we should be looking at instead of the dinosaurs who made their name 10-15 years ago.
