Alone? Doubt it. You missed the whole point of the post.

They don’t have to watch it alone. It varies and depends on the person and weekend. I get that there are people that have kids and stuff going on in the morning. There’s also people that might like them in the morning sometimes so they can go out that night or go to other commitments that they have that evening

This likely has something to do with the fact that State is expected to be pretty down this year. Losing Leach and then Arnett throwing his offense away without the players to run what he wants for no good reason aren’t a setup for great success.

I know it’s as good as predicting the lottery, but any thoughts on army kick off time?

Went 2 years ago when the game was at 11. Was a fun trip, but there is zero shade in that stadium on the LSU side. You will cook

If you are going to the game 11 sucks, watching on tv and it’s great. Then you have the rest of the day to enjoy the win and the rest of your Saturday

Exactly. 20-80k at the game vs 2M+ watching on tv.

Yeah, and ESPN is trying to compete with FOX in that 11 a.m. slot because FOX considers that its big game slot. Plus, ESPN can use GameDay as a lead-in and hope people don’t change the channel if they give them a high-profile team in the 11 a.m. slot.

11am game is #3 on your list. Sad but true.

I never understood the people who like 11am away games. They must watch the games alone at their house.

That one I will. I probably won't leave the house depending on the rest of the day's slate of games. It's nice to have a slow week in there somewhere.

Football should be played at night.

You’ll be able to fry an egg in the stands of the stadium at 11am!

By far the best way to watch! Don’t have to contend with all the “football experts” who never played, or the “its game day so let’s get drunk & be an arse”, or the women that just want to be seen in their new outfits & drink & gossip! Plenty of party time before & after a game & only 3 hrs of Tiger football to enjoy!

Change that to 6pm. (In Tiger Stadium)

They did that to piss us off.
The only time I enjoyed an 11 am kickoff was when we went to Fayetteville this past season. It was freaking cold that morning but it would’ve been much colder to sit through had it been a night game.

Starkville is too close and easy to get to to call it a road game.

How about 11am bowl games on New Year's? There's a special place in Hell for whoever comes up with that.

Guilty. I can drink Bloody Mary’s before the game, enjoy the win and be on the golf course by 3:00. Such a terrible life I lead.

You can. Don’t take the TV money.
