Ah Tulane had a new coach and a freshman QB who had awful freshman turnovers against KSU and OU. He has since settled in and we are literally crushing teams. We would be favored against KSU and at OU right now.
Beating a good Navy team 35-0 in Annapolis with the largest crowd in Navy history on senior day, which is a huge deal at Navy, is no fluke. Our coach is going to on every P4 coaching list. The team is just so well rounded. Our players are very smart and coachable.

Tulane had two chances this season to show that they are a decent Power 4 team. They failed both times.

There is something called context. We would beat KSU and destroy OU now. Again, new coach and freshman QB who came out of no where and beat out a former starter and former top 5 QB recruit.

I would not trade Sumrall for Kelly. The guy is going to be a superstar. His players love him and 18-22 years old develop.

#1 revenue generator in NOLA and students commit over 100,000 hours of community service to LA each year. But you tell yourself whatever you want. Your team literally has 10x budget and is not ranked. And your coach is literally a northerner and our’s is a southern boy who has fought for everything and won with way less.

LSU should play Tulane again 100% and settle all this on the field.
Tulane is 1b in my fandom, and it is a bad look for LSU to dodge the contest (if that’s what’s happening).
They definitely have a better HC though. Not sure about the assistants, yet.

BTW, Tulane’s 9k students are always in the top five of happiest in the country. They are required to give back to the community to graduate. Why don’t LSU people celebrate this rise in football?
