It's not a stupid question. Les got lucky 2 season's ago. During the season and right before the bowl season. A lot of things happened to help him wint he N.C. If you can't admit that you're a fool.

He was on the hot seat last year, and a loss to Troy "might" have done him in.

One more year like that, he might be done. We'll see how much luck he has this year.

if McCAIN had gotten more votes, would GM have had the same problems, we will never know, thats why if is the largest two letter word, it's more like a four letter word

If D. Byrd doesn't make that catch in the endzone against Auburn in BR two seasons ago..

Explain to me how I am dumb? LSU lost 5 games last year, and they were a fart away from losing 3 more. They could have easily lost 8. What would you all you smart, bright, intelligent guys be saying then?

Auburn W 26-21

thank God for a heroic TD pass by J. Lee or we'd lose this game.

South Carolina W 24-17

Held on this win this game

Troy W 40-31

A miracle 2nd half gave us this win.

B/C of "LUCK", LSU won these games. Again if you can't admit that you are a LSU "HOMER"

What b/c I say something negative about Les Miles, it makes me a Sabannist?

When there's 100+ teams competing for 2 slots in a NC game, of course you have to have some luck to get there. The same way the most talented poker players need a bailout on the river two or three times over the course of a tourney to get a seat at the final table. ANY team can point to a close game or a lucky bounce or a phantom penalty in the 4th quarter that got them out of a jam. But you need the talent, too.

Now you're just being plain stupid. Saban lost to ULM after winning a NC. I'm pretty sure Miles losing to Troy wouldn't have got him fired, though rantards like you would've been calling for his scalp.

Miles would be on the chopping block this year if that occurred.

Why would he be?

As stated earlier, vs AU we would have kicked the FG.

Also, vs UF, if memory serves me correctly, only one of those fourth downs was "optional". We HAD to go for it on all the others. They werent gambles like many say they were.

The game ended with LSU having the ball on their(USC) 1 yard line 2nd down..we could of scored another TD.

Dude and who's to say he would have made it. I have never seen a kicker miss a 30 yr. FG.
