LSU was a deserving champ in 2007 but I agree, you cant say there wasnt luck involved with LSU losing 2 games but still being NC.

W = won i hate "what if" b.s. and im sick of the miles bashing, HE coached the team to a bcs championship. alot of surprising things happened last year. HE had the guts to cut a #1 qb prospect for the integrity of the team. saban was a good coach and i dont hate on him, he did alot for lsu....including a crystal football. going to our sec rival sucked.....but f it, he took the job. no sense dwelling on it.....like all the "what if" b.s.

Just b/c LSU won aganist Troy doesn't take away that they were getting their asses handed to them in the 1st half, and that's Les Miles fault. He has already made his impression in my mind, national championship or not. It goes back to the Tennessee lose his first year, and don't give me the hurricane bull crap! No, I would have been bitching about the bone head play calling that game. That is what I complain about when LSU loses. I don't blame the refs or other things like some of you. It falls on the coach. Playing calling, game preparation, motivation, etc.

Just like when we lost to AU his 2nd year. I don't blame the refs. I blame him. We had plenty of other opportunities that game to take complete control but he wanted to play with his thumb up his arse.

So what does Les Miles have to do to convince you he's worthy enough to coach at LSU? 7 NCs? 8? Jesus Christ, noob, why don't you go look at LSU's records and bowl game invites in the 1990s (since you clearly didn't become a fan until 2003) and ask yourself if we're better of with Miles as our coach.
