You want to know the real truth?

It doesn't have anything to do with fandom. Fans drink all afternoon. Then they go to the stadium and not drink (or drink rations from a flask making do with whatever) while all their friends are socializing back at the tailgate. That's the problem with the stands. It's the culture we've just built here.

Sell beer in the stadium. LSU makes a killing on concessions that bitch stays full until the end.

Now, lets get back to the 10 million people on this board WHO DON'T GO TO GAMES just bitch about the stands emptying out.

Les should become a Rugby coach.

Go back to when LSU was 13-0. People were leaving at half time then because 1) day games too hot 2) blowouts no fun 3) easier to watch on tv 4) tailgating more fun than games 5) students did not give a shite. LSU fans ripping CLM & then leaving at half time are the same folks. Don't like CLM but do support the players/recruiting.

Let’s see. LSU is leading some little sister’s of poor team by 30 in the middle of the 3rd quarter. The quarterback, who needs a lot of work, then begins to hand off to the running back off-tackle for the next quarter and a half. YES

Can't blame Miles for this. Bozo's are still leaving at halftime and in the 3rd quarter. How lame.

True.

LSU Fans(?) have been leaving games early for years and violently defend their right to do be able to choose when to leave and when to stay. It is interesting, however, that a much greater number of FANs from other schools choose to stay.

I accept that people who pay for tickets can go and come as they please. I DO NOT ACCEPT that people can leaver early can still consider themselves the best fans in the country.

Right...right. News flash Einstein the fans don't actually play.

Oh and nobody believes that Les Miles quit....at this point we're just hoping he does.

Oh and if the team quit then who's fault is that. They've quit a few times in the last ten years...I don't think there's any doubt that has something to do with our record number of Sophomores and Juniors leaving while Bama somehow manages to have a front seven full of Juniors and Seniors.

True for the record, Plus I still think Gundy's offense would put up outstanding numbers on offense and we would still run the ball with authority because of what types of offenses and RB's come out of LA

see that right there is the reason for it all. Einstein would be grateful if you could just understand the concept of fan support and it's effect on team play as well as individual performance.

The only place I know where fans will get there 10 hours before the game only to leave in the 3rd quarter to beat the traffic
