If fans could stay and drink and smoke in the stadium, would they stay?

People came and stayed at games when your only chance to see the team was in the stadium. When you can watch a game on your smartphone, you know times have changed.

If you're not drinking in the stadium, that's a you problem I swear I could walk in with a fifth of bourbon on me and no one would notice.

The brand on the field puts people in the seats.
The same coaching, same mistakes and same effort since 1/9 will continue to drive people away.
The fans aren't to blame for anything.
That defense has been swiss cheese, the offense is boring and predicatable.

I'm not spoiled, I can handle a few hard fought loses. The problem is we are not fighting. I blame the Coaches.

believe what you want. If you believe in the coaches that's fine. I've given up on the coaches.

I don't find your brand of posting very entertaining either..Our fanbase has a lot of whiney spoiled bandwagoners.

Strange. Even if the end result isn't what I'd hoped, I've still had a lot of fun watching LSU games the last several years. I must be doing it wrong.

There are and have always been high expectations for LSU - and even in the down years there has been hope. The definition of winning for any team worth its salt in this conference (LSU has always been in this category - 'big 6') has always been: 1) SEC Championship, 2)Sugar Bowl and/or National Championship.

Losing the ability to reach these goals compounds all ills (i.e., boring offense, too many penalties/mental mistakes, poor ST play, out-coached, fickle LSU fans, etc.,etc., ad nuaseam).

The primary inertia against fan interest/support recently has been created by the decline of competitiveness within the division/conference and the inability to have winning results against the red team. If those two things were heading in a different direction than has been the case over the past several years, all the bitching and moaning would be taking a back seat to how LSU is consistently competing for SEC and National championships at the END of seasons.

And the bottom line to all this is that CLM shoulders the responsibility.
