re: True or False: LSU is a 4 loss football team this year?

With 4 losses, LSU would either play a shitty Big 10 or ACC team. Why would that be a loss?
And I don't know what UGA has done to look impressive enough to be considered a loss so far.

On the road and they fricking own Les. If not them, then I'm sure Arky or Aub will get us.

Ah, good point. Probably true to answer the original question then.

Ole Miss struggled for 3 quarters with Memphis who Middle Tennessee absolutely demolished today. I am not yet convinced about Ole Miss.
Alabama struggled for 3 quarters with FIU. Alabama will be tough. Last year we took them to OT. I don't look for a pistol whipping.
UGA looked anemic on offense against OSU, who lost to Houston. They looked much better today against South Carolina (who scored points today, but only barely beat NCSU), but UGA is beatable.
Every conference game will be a challenge. But we have a reasonably good chance to go 10-2 to 9-3.

Do you guys honestly think LSU looks as bad as they did last year after their first two real games?
And no, I am not talking about North Texas and Appy State.

I thought we looked better last year on offense once Lee took command. Then the UF game came adn all went to hell in a handbasket.

In two games I see nothing special about this team to this point. The offense is just awful. There seems to be no plan or philosophy. The O-line is not impressive. Jefferson is throwing a lot of short passes but not very effective going down field. The running game is not dominating with the exception of a nice game by KW tonight. Offensively it takes this team half of a game to get in gear. The defense takes a long time to adjust to what the offense is doing. They are giving up big running plays, can't get off the field on third downs. Other teams in the conference that are getting off to slow starts are coming back and putting teams away easily in the second half. Just seems we have a collection of talent that is under performing in a lot of areas. I've seen nothing so far that would make me think we would beat bama, florida, ole miss on the road or Georgia after they put up a big offensive day against a good defense. Arkansas is going to have a better running game than anyone we have played so far. I'm hoping we get better.

I was saying 9-3 as a prediction, but watching this team, 8-4 would be doing well.
And, I consider myself a positiger.
But, we can win any game on the schedule including Florida - if we put it all together. Actually, I am not expecting us to beat Florida, but we have the talent to do so. That is incredibly frustrating as a fan.

we won't lose 4 in the reg season.

lots of intangibles....0 losses almost impossible to do in the sec for any team.....1 to 3 losses looks more likely to me
so I say false

so I say false

I hope not . 2-3 losses is my hope.

The defense was a sieve against a terrible Mississippi State team last year and Aubrn had a decent passing game as well. Keep in mind that these teams played a 3-2 stalemate before Mallveto. The offense looked better at times, but Lee threw the worst interception I have ever seen against Auburn, and from that point on, my blood pressure went up every time he threw a pass.
I have more confidence in the team so far this year because at least the team has shown improvement on both sides of the ball so far. With better coaching, this team should be in good shape.

9-3 We get beat by Fla. and Bama(barely) and split Ga/Ole Miss

Of course we have the talent. But right now we don't have the team. Having talent and players is not the same as playing as a team. Who is the leader on this offense? The line has talent but gets pushed around during games. Jefferson needs more time and he isn't getting it. He needs to learn how to look off of his primary receiver and see the whole field and he also needs to be able to hit receivers in stride. I think our d-line lacks a certain toughness and consistency at this point.

Unfortunately we will get crushed by florida...maybe bama.....i think snead will shread our d and georgia is a hit or miss depending on if their offense shows up which they probably will in athens.......you never know with arkansas and auburn--i was originally hoping for only 2 losses but now i would consider it a successful season if we finish with 3 losses but i fear a 4-6 loss season

false all you freakin negatigers!
And don't give me this crap about being realistic...I can see it now when either we make it to the SEC Championship game or the Sugarbowl as an at-large with two losses...I'm just gonna remember all this whining and smile.
Be proud in your boys!!! 2-0!
Some people just are never happy...i didn't realize how pessimistic most of the world has gotten!!!
