There's no maybe about Bama. Nick Saban's defense will absolutely devour any offense that can't complete a pass more than 10 yards down the field. If you thought Vandy was getting to Jefferson, you ain't seen nothing yet. Bama will be all over his arse before he even knows he's taken the snap. Since they don't have to worry about covering receivers downfield, they'll be able to stack the box and blitz at will with impunity. I honestly would not be surprised to see us accumulate negative total offensive yardage in that game because of all the sacks and TFLs.

I hope you are being sarcastic because that is fricking retarded.

minus the negative total yards part...he is not wrong

We will have a deep attack by the time we play UGA. The offense line will probably have gelled by then and we will not be getting destroyed. We will open up more misdirection in the offense in the backfield by then also.

It isn't like we are playing UF or Bama tomorrow.

IMHO the offense is a powderkeg gelling and when we get into the meat of our SEC schedule they will bring the boom. UF may very well be a 30+ point shootout similar to the 05 Rose bowl whose outcome is dictated by who has the ball last/who makes the fewest turnovers.

The main things that may get in the way of this: Miles/Crowton misuse Shepard, injuries, and if the OL doesn't get their shite together.

We certainly have the talent in all of the skill positions, regardless of JJ's lack of experience.

PROBABLY THE ONLY GAME THAT CAN BE CONSIDERED A GIVEN LOSS IS UF BUT THAT IS IT ALL OF THOSE OTHER TEAMS HAVEN'T REALLY PROVEN THEMSELVES TO BE ALL THAT DOMINANT AND THE ONLY THING THAT UGA IN PARTICULAR GOING FOR THEM IS THE FACT THAT THE GAME IS HOME BAMA AND OLE MISS IS A COIN TOSS LEANING TOWARDS LOSS BECAUSE OF THE GAME LOCATION IMHO FWIW BBQ

Negative. The only teams that beat us is Florida and Ole Miss. Everyone is underestimating our Tigers. Damn, how I wish we could have just played two 1AA teams such as Florida Atlantic, UL Monroe, or maybe even San Jose St. I bet all the negatigers would be saying we could beat the Steelers. However, we took the hard way out and scheduled two good teams in the first 2 weeks. We will see this LSU team put something together by the time Florida rolls into town.

Yep. I sure did. Only because I really thought that Ryan Perrilloux was going to be our starting quarterback. However, you might be the same poster that says that our main problem with last year was our defense. Really? Football is a team sport. You can have the best defense in the world, but when your offense goes three-and-out, throws interceptions, and makes other mistakes; it really puts your defense in a bind. With that being said, we could have had the same defense last year with Ryan Perrilloux and I guarantee you we wouldn't have lost by 50 to both Florida and Georgia nor would we have lost to Arkansas or Ole Miss. This team will be fine.

After what you've seen in 2 games, is LSU a four loss team? I say True. UF and Bama will pistol whip this team and UGA and Ole Miss will beat us comfortably. Arkansas and Auburn could also beat us. Looks like a minimum of 4 losses unless they get going on offense and improve against the pass on D.

You my friend are delusional. Come on, it is still early in the season. Also, you might want to remove that signature quote; you don't want posters to think that you are really that naive for believing a statement that I said because I was toying with you kids.

False. I can only imagine what a clusterfrick of a program we would have if all these pesimistic "fans" were running things. Theres got to be a board with people who support our team. They won their first 2 games.....what the hell else do you want?? what a big group of whining babies!

If we find an O-line and D-line no....if they don't improve the line play then last year may seem like "glory days"

What game were you watching. We gave up 224 yards total offense and 88 yards of that was on passing. It rained all night. I agree the two NC have spoiled a lot of you, we are going to get better, relax

Three or four losses.

D line play spotty at best and no down field passing game. Do not know if we are capable because we do not even try. Frustrating with the talent we have at WR.

If we improve 10% by Oct, I say 2 or 3 losses.
We lose to UF, but drop one to Bama/UGA/OM.
I don't see us losing all 3 unless we are now as good as we are as good as we are going to get.
