He’s gonna be a solid back. Definitely can play here and not done scrub you think we just took for the frick of it.

He’s no CEH right now but he’s a SEC back, which I don’t think you believed he was

I didn’t say he was a scrub or that he couldn’t play in the SEC. He’s a nick brossette / Justin Vincent 2.0 type back that isn’t going to kick a door down & take over a room

If LSU gets Moss & Law in this class on top of Citizen, then Kiner won’t be here but for another offseason or two before he realizes he needs to go some where else to show out

ETA: that isn’t a take, btw. He can play here, but he’s not CEH or anything. Yea, no shite captain obvious. Just like Boutte & Brian Thomas will be good. Everyone thinks that

I played the position, I’m here to tell you, if you go up high because you think you can force him oob then you can easily get stiff armed.

Yea all these arm chair football stars in here. Kiner is just as deadly in the lower body if not more so. These players aren’t trying to get hurt during practice and I'm sure Harris learned something here. I mean if Harris would have gone lower Kiner could have just as easily pushed his head down into the ground because of the way he stopped which is exactly how you are supposed to stiff arm.

It isn’t as easy as going low, you need to have to right speed and angle to go low. Not enough speed and you can bounce right off or get run through or buried like Fournette did that boy from Ole Miss, who was a top safety at the time but young. Harris needed more speed here then go low so Kiner doesn’t have enough leverage to drop you or you run through his legs but that shite can get you hurt if you hit him wrong.

I see everyone’s point but it is just practice and he doesn’t seem to be coming at 100%. For the record I’m really not a Harris fan but I think he knows he can do better and last year wasn’t all about Harris either. Just stating what I’ve seen. I think Kiner made a damn good play for a freshman myself.

Kiner has looked much quicker than his tape showed.

Chester has been shitting on kiner since he committed. Saying why are his only other offers cincy.

We all know to take him seriously.

"Clyde isn't an sec back". Now you are sitting here comparing kiner to clyde when you didn't even like clyde in the first place.

You didn't?

So he can play but he's not ceh. According to you ceh wasn't even a true sec back.

Whup! There it is! Lester with the “hoss”. He only has two things, lol for most situations, and hoss when he’s feeling a little desperate.

Exactly right. The proper way for Harris to play that was when he saw Kiner slow and turn he should have hit the breaks and slow to Kiner’s speed. That would have given him an easy opportunity to swat the arm away or latch on to it. Going low was not the answer from that angle.

Hopefully we aren’t going low on our own guys in practice.

To be fair, if we had their rb haul last cycle I would probably agree with them

Typical Todd one on one situation. Keep saying it, but he should not be on defense. Just put him in the RB room and call it a day.
