You just don't want to accept the facts. And by facts, I mean his opinions.

you're assuming that these kids, the players I mean, are good at teaching and communicating and organizing an instructional camp? pretty unlikely, and the little kids? they go where the vicarious parents want them to be seen, by coaches, because they are all LSU prospects

You're an idiot. The kids going to these camps look up to the players. The parents sending them there know they look up to the players, and also want their kids to be an LSU player. LSU players having individual camps/clinics will only make the LSU camp more desirable.

Not to mention there are only so many schools where baseball players can make good money doing things like this. It could help LSU in recruiting if some big time talent think there is money to be made. Love it or hate it, the NIL is here and those who don’t embrace it or get creative risk getting left behind.

You really are clueless on this. Morgan is being paid by the facility to put his face on this camp. The facility will organize and put the whole thing on. Did you really think Tre Morgan was putting together a camp from scratch?

Love it but man, he is so athletic, he gets away with a lot of unorthodox skills.

That’s an impressive number of different font styles on one poster

He needs to take a look at the templates on Canva for this type of stuff because that thing looks like it was slapped together on the '99 version of MS Paint.

That earning it. That the right thought process and a great example of how it should have been written in the rule passed. Young man will do well in life with that way of thinking.

I think this is awesome for the kids!
I do have a question though. Schools are able to attract volunteer assistants by giving them the revenue from camps. I wonder how they will handle team camps if all of the players start having camps too.

LSU’s NIL compliance officer was on OTB a couple of weeks ago and said that players could use official photos with permission. The event or endorsement just needed to align with LSU’s brand partners or approved activities. A skills camp would certainly align. It’s not like it’s a player asking to endorse a smoke shop.

I estimate he grosses $67k

How did you come up with 67k? Admissions at full capacity would be between 26,250 and 45k. Is he selling merchandise or something?

450 campers (75x6 sessions) at an average fee of $150 was my estimate.
I'm assuming full participation and should have factored in $175 per camper, pushing the gross up to $78,750.

Regardless, this is a great idea Trey is capitalizing on. I bet he nets 30-40% of the gross.

honestly don't stay on this board enough to know what that analogy means, I've seen references to LE, but don't really pay attention to too much on this board

The $175 is for all three days. It's $100/day per camper or $175 for all 3 days

The only way he is similar to me is that he can make Hold My Beer 10 have a melt down over some mundane shite
