What exactly doesn’t sit well with you?

He did not lose his redshirt. Why do you have a problem with him getting some playing time?

I don't like burning a red shirt for style points against army, but happy for the young man to get his moment. Wish Kelly wpuld see the big picture a bit clearer tho.

I don't know why everyone wants to shoot the messenger here. I made it abundantly clear that I'm not blaming the player at all. The kid is gonna be a great one for sure but this was squarely on the coach.

You made it abundantly clear that you're a dumbass. I'm more "old school" than you, jackass! He can play the remaining games and not lose his redshirt!

All I heard about was KJ, and no sign of Holly. So I was wondering if Holly was LSU caliber RB.

Damn, now I know! He's going to be a really good one!!!

And….. what exactly was squarely on the coach????

Rewarding a good kid to play in his first game of the year for all the hard work he’s put in all season??? And…. It in no way affects his redshirt.

You are a dumbass of epic proportions

Because you’re ignorant of how a redshirt works

For….not burning his redshirt by playing?

What is? Him getting playing time? You have a problem with the all time record holder in the state of Louisiana for rushing yards getting playing time? This is the hill you're gonna die on?

As for Trey, I’m extremely proud of him and hope Kelly lets him play against Bama. And bring the chucky doll to Tuscaloosa.

"Semjase the Prophet" told yall multiple times in the Pre-Season that Trey Holly and Kaleb Jackson would be the next Dalton Hilliard and Garry James "Dalton & James Gang" great RB duo.

Cool. Thanks for being as annoying and ridiculous as possible while telling us about it. Like always.

I think everyone was impressed by him last night. I saw him play a few times in high school, so I was hoping he would get a chance to play in a couple of games this year.

But I would be very surprised to see him play in the Bama game. The game is just too big to put in someone with so little experience, regardless of how talented he is.

After thinking about it you are right ryno.

After all the fans and admin did to show respect, make them feel at home and welcomed (cheering their entrance, booing the tigers, painting the endzones etc) it was all undone by one ill advised carry. The kid shouldnt have been put in that position.

Sometimes there needs to be an adult in the room who realizes its not all about the W.

Once again its NOT on the kid.

Ryan, I think if you had just admitted you didn't understand the rule or had forgotten the change, most people would have understood and made nothing of it. Everyone on this board has made mistakes.

Of course there still would be the handful who live to attack other posters and call them names, but that's their problem.
