I think it's safe to say Green is garnishing a lot of preseason buzz and well deserved. What would most consider a successful year production wise for him:

2024, 13 catches, 101 yards and four touchdowns
2025, 33 catches, 433 yards and seven touchdowns

Can he pass Moss, Moreau and Dickson?

I will say I think he will leave LSU with the most td's for sure because of his wingspan and utilization in the red zone with an improved offense scheme.

Dillin Jones will surprise.

He is exactly the kind of back who pops earlier than the preseason models expect,. He will lean into Kiffin’s tempo-plus-gap scheme, he’s the one who benefits the most. The preseason analytics don’t account for Jones’ acceleration, contact balance and cut backs, or how well he fits the new run structure.

Short takeaway: With Jones in the rotation, LSU’s run game ceiling is meaningfully higher, especially when Trey Dez opens up cut back lanes for Jones. Kiffin's running game will surprise. People will have trouble with it.

My favorite moment in Lanes presser was when they were dogging the OL.

“Well you know, the running backs need to run the ball too”

Hes a hybrid but hes still a tight end. I would guess in 12 regular season games 50-60 catches. For between 600-700 yds and 8-10 tds. He is going to be a huge redzone target for us and with that hes not going to be putting up 15-20 yds/catch. Would not surprise me if he leads the team in receptions, targets, and touchdowns but not yards.

I look forward to Kiffin and Charlie Weis Jr. finding ways to scheme him open on third down and in the redzone. Please stay healthy!
