LSU hoops fans will be longing for the Final Four run of Brady after a few of those 18-13 seasons Johnson is known for.

...Or at least you will be counting down the minutes to the football opener during the upcoming run of mediocrity that Johnson brings. Very average recruiter who got the Lopez Twins only because they had always wanted to go to Stanford. NIT or Bust!!!

Stupid people want to get rid of good successful coaches all the time. Just look at this board with Les Miles until about three months ago.

Just look at how the Stanford program fell off after Montgomery left and Johnson took over. This is a sad day in LSU Basketball, we are stupid for not gooing out and getting a rising coach , or even a Louisiana connected coach. We go out and hire a guy who was not getting his contract renewed

Josh Childress had nothing to do with that either.

Even if LSU only matched his current salary..It would be like doubling it..

What's the cost of living in BR compared to the west coast?

Name some rising coaches that wanted to come to LSU that we turned down. You act like we turned down top names.

Why didn't Stanford offer this guy a contract extension?

I think that is a very good question.
