He is nowhere close to fast enough. So, he tries to get a jump start on almost every play. He could have validly been flagged on a large percentage of his snaps.

He's big, but ain't even close to fast enough.

If he plays tackle against Bama, it will be a catastrophe of penalties.

Someone correct me if I need to re watch the game.

I'd love to be wrong.

Deculus was abused all night by the LA Tech Ferguson kid. Other than Sasdiq, we got s problem at tackle.

You’re right. He should be a Guard. Nothing else

Totally agree. I kept waiting for a flag on nearly every pass play.

Deculus was fine against Auburn. I’ll chalk it up to a bad game until I see him consistently bad

Would be a option if he was shorter and quicker. Tackle is the only place.

Holding isn't a thing in LSU games anymore - at least not until Bama.

Not only are our guys holding a lot, uncalled holding against our ends and Devin White are almost an "every play" occurrence.

Not only this, but Ferguson is a really good pass rusher. Deculus was getting beat but was for the most part able to steer him enough to let Joe step up in the pocket.

Traore is the far, far bigger concern if Charles goes down. He looks lost AND slow, which is a terrible combo for a tackle.

at some point would you consider giving Rosenthal a look?

Fresh take. Thanks for the game notes. Who else should we bash today?

Not this year. I think Dare’s future is bright at tackle but he hasn’t played there in almost two years.

Why haven’t we seen Donavaughn Campbell on the interior line this year? Would allow some flexibility to move other folks outside.

that's what I was asking last week. Dude got a lot of PT early in his freshman year. Maybe is to fat and slow?

I began to watch him exclusively on some plays, and he is definitely the weak point on the line. There were a few plays where Cush would get on him for missing his blocks.

You're right, he could have been called for false start a few times. His initial 2-3 kicks are ok then he just seems to quit on the play. They could possibly try him at guard but not sure he'd be effective on pulling due to lack of footspeed and slow coming out of his stance.
