What are the chances of O and Canada opening the door for a transfer QB next year? Rumors are swirling of Shea Patterson. I'm not his biggest fan but he has the experience, arm, and mobility that could take this offense to the next level.

Nobody here knows obviously. I'd say probably not but weirder things have happened.

I'd rather Jacob Eason from Georgia with Fields coming in next year

Shea Patterson will NEVER take a snap for LSU, and that's just fine by me. I want no part of that family.

I hope he leaves Ole Miss and screws them over too.

As someone else said, if Eason still wants to play in the SEC, that's the guy I want.

Alot point to them shying away from a transfer, especially Patterson, but it's interesting to think about nonetheless.

No job opening at LSU for Shea's brother = no Shea transfer to LSU.

Shea would have been a beast here. He had his chance. He followed the bag man and the hookers and his brother to OM. Good riddance. We have a couple guys named Brennan and Narcisse who actually signed with LSU and I'll take them any day over Shea, regardless of how good he may or may not be.

No he doesn’t. When the sanctions hammer hits, all players will be allowed to transfer and not sit out.

If Shea wants to come here, you know damn well LSU takes him.

Greg Little and a couple receivers would be welcome too.

Shea will not play another down of college football. He will transfer, sit a year, then try to go pro. He has zero interest in college.

I spoke with a well connected booster at OLe Miss. He is 100% certain that Shea has played his last snap at Ole Miss. He thinks with Sanctions that he will have his release to go anywhere. I Think he is 100% a take if he wants to come here. He would immediately challenge for playing time and if nothing else will give much needed backup if one of the others emerge as a starter. He wants to go a place where he has a place to start and we need experience at that position going into next year. He felt strongly LSU was a likely landing spot for him.
