I wouldn't be opposed to a transfer to throw into the mix and give us a stop gap if Brennan and Narcisse bomb out. But there's no options at the JUCO level (no, Lindsey Scott isn't coming back) and an FBS guy would have to sit out for a year. So that leaves us with a 1 and done grad transfer. But it's impossible to speculate on which QBs might seek out 1 more year.

I haven't heard anything of substance, but if Patterson is granted a release and is healthy then he would absolutely be LSU's starting QB in '18.

A lot of the Patterson drama went down with Miles at the helm....O was out recruiting Dlinemen and drinking Red Bulls. O is the type who will do what it takes to win....if Shea wants to come he won’t even blink an eye. He KNOWS fixing our QB situation is his biggest task.

Are there any potential graduate transfer QB's with talent that may be available for next year? At last week's Coach O radio show, it might have been Evil Twin who asked a question about a transfer QB, and O's response suggested the door was open to this. There was something in the way it was said that made me think it was a possible graduate transfer, and I even remarked to my friend I was with that I wondered if there was something going on behind the scenes along those lines. I know ET used to get some good inside scoop occasionally, and it was like he and O both knew what each other was talking about but didn't want to divulge any details. I don't think it would be Patterson for reasons others have already mentioned, but if they were going to bring in a transfer, a graduate transfer who would be here only one year might make sense. So does anyone know of any potential grad transfers?
