This is my recollection of him as well.

Not sure where this "Booty wasn't scared to go across the middle" thing is coming from.

Booty may have set the record for most receptions which ended in him going out of bounds instead of getting tackled.

He was an exceptional route runner and had great hands, but I don't think he ever made it between the hash marks on a football field.

So he's a lot like a WR version of Kyle Williams.

This was money.

granted that I was only about 6 or 7 when Booty played, I don't remember him being all that consistent or clutch...FWIW I think Quinn will easily surpass Booty.

I'm old, but thats about what I remember as well. In his defense, the expectations of Booty to Booty were unreasonable, and, he got hurt pretty bad/was never really the same after.

Otherwise....

Quinn's faster
Booty had better hair (hey, no homo/just sayin)

You may be thinking of Todd Kinchen (they all look alike).

He'll probably measure 5'11 205 lbs when he goes to the NFL combine.. 4.49 in the 40. If his wing span is good and he jumps well.. that would have him as a 1st rounder.

Yeah, I think everyone who has ever had these qualifications has gone on to be 1st rounder in the NFL.

Quinn reminds me a lot of Victor Cruz. He's going to be a stud this year.

There is absolutely no reason to make this comparison. They are incredibly different receivers

He'll remind everyone of a faster Jarvis. TQ is a very physical receiver.

We get it. You are probably a white guy with a small penis. Get over your inferiority complex. Go play somewhere else.

Abram had two great seasons his first two years and then fell hard in 1999.

Dude got married between 98 and 99 and I believe his priorities changed.

IMO, Josh Reed is the best comparison

I remember Booty running good out routes, then either going out of bounds or down with minimal contact within two steps of catching the ball.

Quinn is faster, stronger, and much more dynamic after the catch.

I remember A Booty and T Kinchen very well. Booty was terrified of contact, had good hands, ran good routes but lacked breakaway speed. TK was a freak. He had hands, speed, quickness, strength, zero fear and had a desire to beat your arse. If Quinn is anything close to TK, we are lucky to have him.

compared to what? He hasn't played a down yet. But, yeah, I hope like hell that he's a receiver like Reed. Reed was elite and arguably the best wr in lsu history.

Do these guys have anything in common athletically other than both being white and playing for LSU?
