Wasn't an LSU fan until '03 Georgia. When Green caught the ball in the end zone...I have never heard anything quite that loud before.
This was also my first game as a cheerleader...so being on the field for that blew my ever-loving mind!

In my earlier post when I said if you weren't there, you just don't know. When we scored you could easily end up 4 or 5 rows away from your seat. It was a mosh pit and no one cared if they got pushed or spilled on or anything.

It really was unreal how nuts we all went. That was my freshmen year and it never even came close to that again.... except kinda close when we lost to/beat Tennessee and we went so nuts that when the smoke cleared a dude had broke his leg..... and didn't give a shite!
I also remember the rain of thrown drinks when the USC score was announced.... that score announcement got a better crowd reaction than most touchdown I witnessed from then on.

This
Rushing the field and seeing the goal posts passed around the stadium after was awesome!

Anyone have the full UGA 03 game? I was there but never got a chance to watch it on tv. Just highlights.

"... maybe the most surreal moment I've ever experienced in Tiger Stadium. 3rd quarter."

You were wrong then, and you are wrong now. Watch it again. We had a timeout and there were 4 seconds on the clock when the ball hit his hands. It was the correct call.
Still, in response to the OP, Florida '97 hands down. From the moment the "Work 'Em Silly Gators" sign got destroyed, the student section never sat back down. (which was at least 1/2 hour before kickoff)

Florida 07 made a national championship possible, but I'm gonna go with Georgia. That was such a big win for this program, a clear milestone for changing into a top-tier program after years of not being one.

Maybe..... 1986 LSU destroyed A very good A & M team 35-17. The crowd was nuts the whole game.. prime time on ESPN and the flyover right before kickoff was unreal.....

Florida 07 was the 2nd best football game I've ever been to. NFCCG will forever be #1

What is your recollection of that event? Any specifics?

Florida '97
Florida '07
Georgia '03
The people who disagree will disagree based on the importance of the game vs. the game itself.

Seriously, I was at Florida '97 and in the students section. I went to UNO at the time.
I used a friend's ID to get in. It was absolutely crazy.

Was at all three. Florida 97 had the loudest sustained crowd noise of the three. In fact, the loudest and most raucous atmosphere I've ever experienced in TS. UGA 03 had the loudest moment of peak noise: Mauck to Green. UGA 03 also had the greatest significance for the program. It vaulted us into the national championship discussion for the first time in decades. It also has the distinction of being the most stressful, exhausting game I've ever attended as a spectator. I was drained by the time I staggered out of TS.

I went to all three and they were all awesome atmospheres and special. 2007 UF was the most dramatic with all the 4th down conversions and the back and forth (though we started really slow in that one). Also, the USC score announcement obviously added a lot. UGA 2003 felt like every fan was on the edge of their seat for every play. It was a rare time in which a day game in Tiger Stadium felt like a giant night game with the crowd not letting up. Richt said that after they scored to tie it at 10, he thought it would quiet down, but the LSU chant that started was the loudest he had ever heard a stadium get. And then the Mauck-to-Skyler Green TD was thrilling and deafening.
I would say 97 was the most magical simply because UF was ranked #1 and on a 25-game SEC winning streak (and was obliterating teams while we had just squeaked by Vandy and lost Cecil the Decil for the season with a broken leg). Also, Spurrier had absolutely dominated us and we hadn't beaten them since 1987. LSU started fast and the crowd was awesome even before the game started. That UF team finished the season ranked #4 and only lost one other game. They knocked an undefeated FSU out of the national championship game too. They were damn good. LSU played great on both sides of the ball though and Carl Reese and DiNardo had a moment of genius by bringing back the Chinese Bandit package for that game (and it seriously worked).
And of course, charging the field and tearing down the goalposts was as surreal as it gets. That game did remind LSU fans of what LSU was capable of...so did the Ole Miss game the next week, but still... It didn't matter though - nothing could tarnish that night.
