I really don't understand why we have people upset. The people that did it aren't anymore of a fan than those that didn't and the ones that didn't aren't any less of a fan or less classy then those that did. In the end, this shite really doesn't matter either way and it is pretty retarded that we are sitting here arguing about it.

Football fan mentality that they are trying to translate to baseball. It just doesn't work. I have seen people cheer seeing an opposing player make a diving catch because it was just a great play. You will never see people cheer an opposing cornerback pick off our receiver. You can't compare the two and it is too hard to try to explain.

I have 2 degrees from lsu and I say the victory lap is gay. Bunch of self serving fans and it's embarrassing.
Why not just hand out victory cigars too?

The only team that has deserved to take a lap around our field (granted it was the real Alex Box, not this pussy arse shell that they want to call Alex box) is UNC-Wilmington, and that was after they lost in the Regional final. They were a ballsy team that played the game the right way. Anyone else that take a lap, at this point, disrespects what that team did.

No one is complaining about applauding. It was the victory lap and our fans pulling their pants down and blowing them while running the victory lap.

I still say it is the basball teams job to stop dogpiles and any other celebrations in our stadium, they didn't take care of their part. They are the only ones that had a chance to stop it and didn't even come close..
