I didn’t see it, but he didn’t leave early.

No, he was on the bag when the ball was caught. I was more worried about the other guy leaving 2nd too early.

This. They were bitching about Brown leaving early. Haven't seen a replay on that.

Glad the umps held the line of SC coaches taking too long to challenge.

Yeah, there was no reason for Kling to leave anywhere close to early. With as fast as he is and as deep as that ball was, he could stood on the base, counted to 3 after the catch, and moonwalked home and made it. It was Brown that they were looking at. But I'm not sure there was much to look at. We didn't see a replay at all, I don't think.

In the postgame press conference, Kingston said he was satisfied when the ref assured him Brown didn’t leave early…and USC did not ask for an official review.

Assuming their split screen views were synchronized, it wasn't even questionable.

why was Jay so fired up? I missed this part of the game and was listening to them on the radio say he was in the ump's face which usually takes a lot for Jay to do.

Kling wasnt even a question. Maybe the guy on 2nd but we never saw a replay. I thought jay was pissed because the play was obvious and SC was just trying to kill our momentum or get a pitcher more time. I believe they brought in a new pitcher right after.

No, it wasn't close at all for Kling.

Some people said it might have been Brown from 2nd, but we never saw that replay.

No matter what you can't wait that damn long to try to challenge something. S. Carolina staff messed that up big time if they wanted to take a look at it.

Not even close, what game were you watching. They weren’t even appealing Kling, they were going to review Brown. They threw to second.
