I root for the team that is ALWAYS suppose "to be really good NEXT year". Unless they are playing LSU, or any team that would give LSU a boost in the rankings, then the SEC (in that order) . So I would have to say:
SEC: South Carolina
Big 12:Texas Tech
ACC: Maryland
PAC 10: Oregon/Oregon St.
Big 10: Wisconsin
Big East: South Florida
Boise St. and Notre Dame
IMO

I married into a Mississippi State family so I would go with the Bulldogs. If Urban Meyer were to leave I would have no problem being a UF fan.

I dont like Florida...But they get the most Respect from me out of all the other SEC teams.
Id pull for Miss St. in the SEC, MAYBE Kentucky.
Outside Penn St, Michigan, Cinci. I like Mcneese also but thats not D1 or whatever they call that shite now.

SEC: Before Kiffen it would have been Tennessee. Now I'm not sure. Maybe Auburn.

Vandy- It's hard to be an "Academic" university in a football power conference. They're our Stanford/Duke/UVA and I'm a sucker for an underdog.
Non-SEC:
TCU- I'd pull for them for the same reasons as above even if I didn't receive my degrees there(substituting "from a non-BCS conference" for "football power conference" of course).
West Virginia- My parents' Alma Mater. I grew up watching Jeff Hostetler, Major Harris and Renaldo Turnbull... Their roller-coaster return to prominence mirrors that of LSU.
Navy-
My father retired as a Commander after 23 years of service. I turned down my appointment because women were not yet allowed to fly "combat" aircraft (Dad wasn't pleased, but he understood).
