Herman Johnson is in, but Andrew Whitworth is out? Yeah....no

Dwayne Bowe should be on there
Holy shite I didn't even catch this one. Huge omission.

I'd put whitworth in over Johnson too perhaps. But Herman was all American so not a major complaint. Plus there was something he accomplished when very young... can't remember

Landry never made all-sec. I think awards figured heavily into the rankings

If Tommy Banks had been given the ball more he would be on the list.

Josh Reed is too low. He owns every receiving record, should be top 5.

Webster and Claiborne should swap places.
Mettenberger, Dominick Davis, Big Herm and Wing do not belong.

9-16 can all be shuffled around.

this list is all kinds of jacked up. you should just start over.

Why do you say that? You don't think Mathieu or Fournette are all-time LSU greats?
Posted on 7/27/17 at 4:39 pm to lsu2006
Yeah, I don't get why he's saying that. I think every knowledgeable LSU fan would agree that Fournette and Mathieu are, at minimum, top 10 greats.

I never said they weren't great but the guys top five only has players from 2007 and later...

Michael Brooks at 34 and no Lance Smith or Todd McClure. Only 4 OL. You need more.
Try again.
Try again.

My god our fan base is so stupid

Who would your top 5 be? Going back to 2007 takes up almost a third of the timespan he used.

Any list without Mathieu #1 just starts out on bad footing.

Todd Kinchen was electric, but was he even better than his brother?

Not to mention the best recruiting period in LSU history...save 2001

i know he didnt pan out in the pros. but i dont remember a guy that could tackle like trev faulk. he was always around the ball.
this list is awesome. brought back some good memories. and yes i would have kevin at #1
