I bet 90% of fans over 35 would put Faulk number 1.

Landry didn't even make first team all-sec.

Kevin Faulk played from 1995-1998. Feel free to suggest any players you think are better than the Top 5 on my list. Thanks for reading.

Pretty sure PROWLER is the list we are talking about in the OP.

i contend, there has never been a better 'football player' than Mathieu....weed or no weed.

His 2 yr highlight reel is better than anybody else's in 4yrs.

Tough to compare a RB to a SS. Tyrann has an argument for best, and I love him still, but I definitely have to subtract a style point or two for abandoning the team.

Arden Key doesn't make that list. You can't be older than 25.

I think Craig Steltz should be on there. Consensus 1st team all-American and Mettenberger gets more love than him? Cmon.

Agreed, all were very good players. It's tough to narrow it down. There are great arguments for all of those guys.

That's legit, both Whitworth and Johnson were very good. Whitworth was 2 time All-SEC and 2nd team All-American his senior year. HJ was AP All-American first team which tipped the scales for me.

Not this one.
IMO LF would've smashed all LSU and SEC records if healthy and stayed Sr year.

Longevity and total contribution have to be taken into account. Not to minimize LF, but Faulk was so huge for this program.

Of course it's all just opinion.

Michael Brooks is abour 33 spots too low. The line should start behind #94
