I thought he was decent last year (not a liability) but this year he’s been big time at 3B. His arm is as good as anyone in MLB.
Also, obviously the ultimate respect is when other team intentionally walks you. Someone needs to step up and make teams pay for those free passes.

lol. He does not have an elite MLB arm at 3rd base. It's good, but he is no where near, not even in the same stratosphere as say a Manny Machado or Matt Chapman. Put the purple and gold glasses down

Wth he didn't say he was Manny Machado level but he is a good 3rd baseman. Smh. That was an elite play last night.

Honestly he likely will have to move to 1b at the next level and if nothing else can dh
He’s fine for lsu at 3b
Jared jones made some nice plays yesterday at 1b

Tommy's arm is more than adequate to play MLB 3rd base. They're not playing on a larger field at the next level. If he makes the throws now he will make the same throws then.

Not everyone will have an elite arm. That is why it's called elite. But he will be just fine.

Tommy has a GOOD college arm. He’s got a ways to go before he’s a starting MLB 3rd baseman. Not saying he won’t get there, but he’s not at this point. He’s much more likely to end up as a DH or at 1st.

His bat will carry him to the show and some manager will figure out how to get him in the lineup.

This will be the difference in this years team. Last year had a Crews missile following White.

you mean as a fielder right?

because he was a damn stud at the plate.

Tommy White had one of the greatest seasons in LSU history and he’s somehow still under appreciated because of what Crews was doing

Right that's why Tommy had so many RBI, crews would get on and Tommy would get him home

He has come a LONG way defensively from last year. Probably not playing 3rd professionally but could if needed to.

White looks a lot more comfortable at 3B than, say, Jacob Berry was.

Tommy is about to get RED HOT at the plate, as he seems to be warming up of late. I expect SEC pitching to be damn scared and issue a ton of walks to him. Hope the next man can do his job.

Wasn’t it his right shoulder that was re-injured last year. If so, he’s probably just now getting back to his potential with his throws. I like what I see.

I don’t think his arm would be a problem at the next level, he wouldn’t be elite but it would be just fine. I think the question mark would be fielding the ball. He’s definitely improved in that area but in the MLB you are consistently get ground balls 100+ mph off the bat and I’m not sure if he can handle that

So, he's a stud just for a hitting a home run yesterday, while he has been struggling this year?
