Actually to me he appears to be very thoughtful in how he answers questions! He actually thinks about his response before he speaks. That’s not to say he is calculated in his response but he certainly knows what he is about to say before he responds. Coach O is getting better too. If you want a cluster—k of a response, go back and listen to Miles ! My God, folks are still trying to figure out what the man says! Case in point go take a look at Miles introduction as the Kansas head coach, and his last press conference! WOW! Saban is also an excellent communicator! It’s absolutely necessary to be able to effectively communicate to both fans and to the Team! Some are very good , some are terrible !!

Nothing would make me happier than beating Texas 3 times in the span of 52 weeks and 5 days...

I normally avoid Longhorn Channel. However, after this win I couldn't help but peek in at their coverage of the game. Tom Herman is very seriously in denial. Besides that he has difficulty speaking. It's on now COX 1309, and repeats at 9:30. Watch it if you want to be happy we have Coach O. He's actually embarrassing.

WTH are you talking about? I don't have time to watch all 20 minutes but nothing he said in the 3 minutes I saw was denial or embarrassing. He said there were linebackers out of position at times (there were, it's part of what you try to exploit with an RPO system), that there are things they can work on improving (there are for anyone), and that some of this was how unbelievably well Joe burrow was placing his passes.

Compared to how intelligible orgeron is at times?

Herman is a good coach and comes across well in interviews. That isn't a knock on O so why does it trigger you so much?

Didn't they score a touchdown on every drive that our guys cramped? So it made absolutely no difference.

But after last weekend, I really do think he's a good coach. He had them prepared and I think he's got them going in the right direction. He is weird in press conferences, but so is Bill B. And what he did with Burrow after the game was very classy.

He's a weird guy, but I think he's a good coach. At least I hope he is, because he gave us all we can handle.

Yeah, I don't know how anyone watches that press conference and has a problem with it. He answered the questions, he was direct.

He has repeatedly acknowledged that we were more talented, as in constantly, but others hear his press conference and take offense to his answers

I dont even find him THAT weird, I think his antics will tire kids out....but what do I know. I like our coach, they should like theirs.

I watched it all and was totally impressed by this guy. Now I see how Texas got so good so fast.

This guy inherited a mess and has them now taking LSU to the wire and winning the line of scrimmage. It took a historic game from a LSU QB to beat him.
He actually recruited a HS QB and is developing him into a Heisman candidate.

I think most schools would take him over Orgeron right now even after losing the game.

Ironic that you call me lazy for wanting info about a thread that someone started with no info. Ironic.

Got to disagree. I haven't heard that many "uhs" and "ums" from a speaker since I listened to an 8th grader give a valedictory speech at a middle school graduation.

I know. Expecting someone to actually link something they start a thread about is whining.

The man has difficulty stringing two coherent sentences together. He makes Les Mikes look like a Shakespearean actor.
