It was funny seeing the Cheeri-Os start a thread whenever Herman was losing to Maryland and other Big 12 teams last year. Saying "we sure did dodge a bullet." Like we didn't already have one aimed and heading straight for our head

They sure did shut up when the trajectory of these two teams became apparent today. Herman is building a football powerhouse while O is destroying one

O is supposed to be an "ace recruiter" and ends up (already one year under his belt) with the lowest rated recruiting class since 2005

O is a fricking joke and Joe is fricking pussy for not paying Herman

I see us at 15? Someone has us as high as 14?

Lowest ranked LSU class since 2002 according to 247

And that 2005 class was when Les got a super late start and only signed 13. So we really need to go back further to find our last NSD that flopped to this level

“But we don’t want Herman, he didn’t win a national title in year 1 at Texas so he sucks. O is better... yaw yaw yaw”

jim Harbaugh is better (football wise) than all these coaches including Saban and he is in his 5th? year, what is Michigan's ranking? According to your logic O is better than Harbaugh.

TX class looks similar to Miles last few classes. Ranked high because of skill players but didn’t really get enough Trench players. If we’d of gotten Goodrich or Washington I like our class better. I still think ours fits our needs for the year. Great lines make skill players look better. I know everybody on this board hates our class and O. I can’t wait for next year. If people sleep on LSU next year they will been in for a rude awakening. This team believes in themselves and I believe will have a chip on their shoulder to prove they are still elite.

No reason to compare first year recruiting. They were both hired relatively late into the recruiting process, so most of the ground work was provided by the previous coach, whether it be good or bad

If he keeps pulling in classes like that Herman's record is going to get better. You really think Orgeron's trajectory is better? You're a fool.

I’m going to take a wild guess and say you don’t even know the number of “trench” players they signed.

He produced their first winning season since 2013. You know, a real rebuild situation as opposed to the self inflicted one we’re dealing with.

Hermans recruited a lot of receivers and D backs. I'll be very surprised if his class makes Texas a contender in the next couple of years.

If you are blindly trying to compare records of the 2 coaches without accounting for all the other metrics involved, then you are too simple to have a discussion with. Herman will have a better team than any Orgeron coached team down the stretch. Ed didn’t have to rebuild LSU from the ground up like Herman did at UT. Let’s revisit this next season and the season after. We can compare records then

It sounds like you’ve conducted a thorough, objective review of their roster and needs. Can you tell me how many WRs they have returning and how many they signed, how many DBs they have returning and how many they signed, how many OL they have returning and how many they signed, and how many DL they have returning and how many they signed?

Most of what he had on the roster was sub par. It will take him more than a couple of cycles to compete for championships. He needs offensive linemen, linebackers and depth at D line
