We would have had to hire all his pitchers too.

Happy with losing in a regional against southern miss, the same southern miss team that couldn’t score a run in 2 games vs bianco’s team? God bless you.

It took Bianco 21 years. Nothing is given. Hell, Ole Miss alums have wanted him fired the past five years.

Nah, we’d rather over pay a west coast bum, that can only coach a team how to hit.
Lame effort.

Maybe if we hired him he would win us a natty 22 years later like he did for Ole Miss?

Pawl won one in 16 years with ZERO trajectory of getting anywhere close to another one. So what’s your point.

He made 3 more trips to Omaha, one of them reaching the CWS finals.

I’d call that somewhere close.

After 22 years he won one. And you know what he wouldn’t have done it here with CPM’s leftovers. So what’s the point?

Should we have hired Mississippi State's coach? He won it last year, and it didn't take him over two decades

How much closer can you get than making the CWS finals in 2017?

Just cause he won there doesn’t make him the right guy here.

Well, now he’s won as many as Paul and one more than Jay…

LSU and Ole Miss were not equal when Bianco took that job. Ole Miss hadn’t done anything in 43 years and LSU was the defending national champ. This argument is stupid and even more so because we’ve won it once in the last 21 years so pretending like winning it once in the same time frame at Ole Miss is so beneath us makes no sense at all.

He won 1 NC...

Manieri put LSU in 4 of them and won 1.

Easy there!

You're obviously one of those women who's only happy when she's bitching about water under the bridge.

Lmao. Please stop.

Bianco has a history of underperforming at Ole Miss and 6 weeks ago everyone in Oxford wanted to dump him to the curb.

He's had 22 years at Ole Miss to build his program and it's his second total trip to Omaha. 22 years. LSU didn't make a mistake by not hiring Bianco.

LSU got the better coach.

The same morons in this thread advocating for Bianco would run him out on a rail if he failed to reach Omaha within 3 years. Seeing as he’s only been there twice in 22, it would not end well for him.

Meanwhile, LSU hired a guy who has two trips in 7 years as a D1 coach.

Thanks for showing everyone how stupid you r take is.

ETA: Paul went to the CWS 5 time at LSU from 2007-2021 (15 seasons). 1 Championship, 1 runner up, 3 other appearances, 3 Super regionals, 2 seasons missing the postseason. He also went to the CWS once at ND.

Bianco just made his second appearance in the college world series in 22 years (2001-2022). 1 Championship, 1 other appearance, 4 Super regionals, 3 seasons missing the postseason.

That's worth repeating. Anybody out there deny this is true?
