Wondering why FreshmanLB Tolan after playing in every game since opener but not playing in bowl is entering the portal?

I don’t believe he even traveled to the bowl. And he’s from Orlando. More to this story than playing time for sure. Will we ever know it? Who knows.

Probably has something to do with him not playing in the bowl, I would imagine.

Not travelling when he's from Orlando seems like a big deal. His departure probably isn't about playing time, or whatever.

Kid obviously wants to move on. We want kids from other schools to come to LSU. If you aren’t happy, move on. Rather a kid leave early than later

Brody implied personal reasons but didn’t get specific

That’s what I was thinking but if that were the case why would he not even travel with the team to the place he’s from? Unless his intentions had already been made and Kelly decided to tell him to stay home/not even dress out.

Someone in another thread said he was on the sideline but not dressed out. Not sure that’s accurate though.

After reading that Brody Miller tweet, I'm inclined to think that this has nothing to do with playing time, academic troubles, or anything else related to LSU. It very well could be that there is a family situation that makes him feel like he needs to be closer to home. But as some have mentioned, we might never know the real story. I wish the kid well.

Sounds about right. Just wasn’t the right fit for him personally. It happens. Wish him the best.

As you may (or may not) have surmised from responses to my post, subsequent to yours, my intuitiveness extended beyond the known (as yours) in bold, vernal response. Go back and read my post.
