It would also have been my travel day to drive to Hoover.
I enjoy being at the Hoover Met more than I do attending games in Omaha.

Having a few people in close contact wouldn’t have created the massive spikes in severe cases that huge crowds had the potential to.

We typically set up in the grass between the Finley Center and the media trailers along the 1st base side and right field corner.

I also use the play in day as my travel day and try to find the games on the radio as I drive. It makes me sad to think one of my remaining tournaments has been denied to me this year. This would have been my twentieth in a row and about twenty fifth overall.

Thanks for the reminder, 5 days away from one of my favorite days of the, the memorial day bracket announcement followed by christmas morning (the first friday of regionals as i crunch my data preparing to bet and win lots of money on college baseball ...sigh

I hadn't really missed the season too much over the past month (probably because of everything else going on), but the past week knowing that tournament would be starting soon really got me missing the excitement of regional time.
